For our very first Fan Favorites video, we're exploring the Relationship Songs that move us. We cultivated these selections from you, the Daily Doug community, and it's a great list of songs!

There's music by Gentle Giant, Queen, Yes, Billy Joel, The Who, Dream Theater, ELP, Peter Gabriel, Mike + The Mechanics, Marc Cohn, and Genesis. I hope you enjoy! I know I did.

It's my favorite Genesis Album, musically miles ahead of any other album, your review though did give me a slightly different take on the meaning of the story, thank you

Thanks for this wonderful selection of music. I'm now a Dream Theatre fan. 10cc, You don't know 10cc.... Doug, you have get to do the album "The Original Soundtrack" the third studio album by the English art rock band 10cc in 1974.

Andrew Wingham

You mentioned the drumming on the Dream Theatre track - John Bonhamesque.

Trilogy - three people playing, three people on the front of the album. Not convinced this was ever a relationship song.

Great Scott

Doug, you do realize that if you ever need another break in producing some Daily Dougs, you can excerpt Trilogy from here over into its own episode on YT in a few weeks/months...

The Fan Favorites bar is officially set. Great listen.

Thank you very very much for opening this for the "old" EPL Tier!!!

Kathy Ratino

Trilogy is about the end of a relationship. Definitely a relationship song. "We tried to lie, but you and I know better than to let each other lie."

Kathy Ratino

This was such a great idea. You played a few I hadn't heard and will be adding to my Amazon Music playlist.

Tommy by the Who. The whole thing. Mind-blowing masterpiece.

It took a while to figure out and find, but this is why I came! Someone mentioned in a YT comment said you had reacted to Best of Times somewhere on your Patreon and I have found it! My favorite DT song of all time, the intro is literally my wake up alarm(eases you in then gets crazy fast if you still sleeping through it XD) Thank you so much for this!

This popped up when I was searching for something else on Doug's excellent channel - and I'm so glad it did! Almost two hours of excellent music and reaction. I must admit quite a few songs had me in tears - in a good way. Thanks Doug!

Don't Give Up is probably now my fave song - so true and relevant (and never noticed the solar eclipse thing going on in the background in the video b4 - great metaphor)

I know I might be real late here, but there is a Daily Doug Directory on Doug's main channel on YT. It has a list of reactions with links to everything Doug has reacted to.
