Hello all,

I'm pleased to present exclusive early access to my recent interview with Ross Jennings, lead singer of Haken. We discuss some of his early music experiences, behind the scenes on a few Haken songs, and about his recent work including a solo album and an upcoming album with Nick D'Virgilio and Neal Morse.

Note: I cleaned up Ross' video as well as I could. He was making use of a borrowed laptop, and the video quality wasn't optimal. However, the sound is pretty good, and I think the conversation is top notch.

I'll be releasing this conversation to my YouTube channel on Dec. 28. Until then, please don't share the link.

Sadly, no subtitles so not watchable for me - well, not audible!

It says I am "unauthorized."

The Prog Report channel listed Ross's solo album as one of the best albums of 2021. I don't have it yet, but am looking forward to checking it out!

He was a busy guy during the pandemic. He certainly needed an itch to scratch and ran with it. And his new stuff does sound great. I never considered the tracks of The Mountain being like a climb and decent down the mountain. Interesting. Thanks Doug for the interview.

Need to do the Messiah Complex from the latest Haken album.

Nice get! Ross is a very talented fella, and I'm looking forward to his "Troika" collab with Neal Morse and Nick D'Virgilio.
