Got a hold of some blackened Metallica whiskey, so good!

So now we're doing "Booz Reaction" videos. Perhaps we should start the "Daily Doug Drinking Game". Every time Doug says, "ya'll" you have to drink. 🥴👍

Anthony Taylor

Neil Peart's favorite beverage =)

Andy Ambrose

Very good choice...maybe try Glengoyne 18 yo...

Looks a hell of a lot fancier than the whiskey I usually drink. Hope it's good!

Ben Allen

Interesting. My favorite bourbon is Woodford Reserve's Double Oaked. It's very good.

Bill Lee

Lagavulin 16 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Bill Lee

Or Breckenridge Port Cask Bourbon

Illume Eltanin

I actually don't imbibe, as I had a bleeding duodenal ulcer as a result of the pain killer regimine I was put on following my reconstructive surgery. However, I became a Maker's Mark Ambassador in 2007. My son turned 21 in 2014, and since a perk of becoming an Ambassador is having a name put on a barrel which takes seven years to mature, I signed up so my son and I could tour the distillery when he turned 21 and purchase a couple of bottles from "his" barrel. It's a marvelous experience!

My go-to is The Macallan 12, which I think is a lovely quaff. You’re going to enjoy that new bottle of yours, I’m sure!

Glenn Wo

Macallan is good stuff!

Can I suggest Penderyn Welsh Whiskey? It's produced not far from where I live, definitely worth a tipple 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🥃🥃🥃🥃

Started with the Macallan, but Springbank is definitely my favorite, although the older Highland Park whiskies are stunning.

Doug, you simply have to get some Zappa analysis going. Don’t get sidetracked by his whimsy; go for the meaty stuff, where his compositional genius is up front. Lotsa good vibes going your way. Philip

Just signed up. Greetings from Vienna/Austria (not Vienna in Virginia :-) ) Would be great Doug, if you can make a full review of the upcoming Iron Maiden Album Senjutsu in September. I am sure other Maiden-fans will sign up to Patreon if you do. Best, Philip

Out here in the Northwest, I infuse my own Douglas Fir vodka. I combine it with Doug Fir brandy and bitters, and St Germain to make an exquisite cocktail I call a "Jocelyn", an incredibly good summer cocktail which does NOT 'taste like turpentine'. Very delicate, rounded, and a little citrusy, actually.

I recently started to getting into the scotch world. So far I'm loving Talisker 10 and Dalwhinnie 15.

Sherry cask 👌. Yum! Nearly all of my favorite drams spend their second fill in sherry casks.

Peter Tutak

You must have tried Glenfarclas 25, then ? I'm not a scotch drinker, but the sherry cask tint and butterscotch-like mouthfeel make this just...exquisite.

Lars

The Macallan is super smooth and one of my absolute favourites.

I brought a bottle of that home after touring the distillery by chance on a business trip. It is the best whiskey I've ever enjoyed.
