I hope Doug does not venture beyond "The Bends" and "OK Computer." I've been listening to their later albums and their push towards minimalist waters leaves me ultimately unimpressed (musicans today become quite pretentious as they age; they seem to believe what fans construct: namely, that they are wise people who need to impart their "wisdom" to the rest of humanity [Bob Dylan saw this trend as well]). I think Doug might find some interesting things to say (because he's so well-versed in music theory). However, my guess is he would notice this change (and not find it welcome). That being said, I would probably watch his reactions. . .
