VDGG for me - the band were my introduction to buying vinyl in the early 70s.

Guitar Channel

Voted for Camel since it's in 2nd place, and Gentle Giant is too far behind. I liked the Spock's Beard I've heard; at least, for newer progressive. Although SB has a little too much metal guitar/drum flash for my taste, their writing is decent.
