I've been working on this near nonstop for the past week to get it done, and I'm not quite there yet, but boy are we close!

So for the uninformed, a couple years ago I started the annual New Years tradition of doing a hot spring piece for characters, refreshing and rejuvenating themselves to keep going for another year! This year's take has been a bit more challenging, both for the sheer amount of characters that are being incorporated this year and for the struggles current life situation is instilling. These are all folks who live on, or at least have businesses on, the city street of Palms Crossing. Ceran, local neighborhood-lead, started this tradition after a bad break-up some several years back that took place on New Years eve. His rationale for this impromptu get-away vacay was that he'd "rather wallow in cleansing mineral waters that'll do something for my age lines, than wallow alone in my home increasing them." Eventually others were intrigued at the concept, and Ceran was more than happy to invite them along if it meant having something more than just churning water to drown out his thoughts. The excursion became a hit, and the rotation of friends willing to make the mountain trip increased. As such it's made the toasty springs, all the way up in those wintry peaks, a little more warmer!

I refuse to downplay just how much work goes into something like this, lmfao. Group / multi-character pieces are a massive undertaking. I've been at this for days, hand endlessly locking up, and still not done. Haven't even done the lineart for all the characters yet, only three! BUT!!!! I will complete this, and will do so soon. Even if these big pieces are very involved, it is nice to show what can be done if allotted the time to do so.....it's just getting that time that's hard. Again, thank you for being patient with me, MS symptoms been flaring up pretty bad so art is taking a little longer to produce than I would like, but ain't that just the way.
