Old men living their old men lives with their old man waistlines!
I do genuinely love drawing Yakuza characters, truly I do. I constantly appreciate how distinct they are in their features and designs! I'm someone who has prosopagnosia (face blindness) so I have always struggled to recognize people unless I interact with them heavily or they have some distinguishing feature I can hook onto. This is what amplified my appreciation for design diversity, as well as characters having snippets of realistic deets like wrinkles and such! Anyway TL;DR, I have fun trying to replicate such intricate features to my more simplified 2D style!
