Megas XLR was an underrated legendary show from the early 2000s that deserved so much better than it ended up getting. A show about two slacker dudes from New Jersey finding a giant robot which leads them to depending the Earth from a myriad of aliens. As a Jersey-born dumpster-imp myself? It was something I had really appreciated, related to, and remember finding the show genuinely funny. It's a shame because I bet it would be BELOVED as a modern Adult Swim show. Coop was peak character design. The world loves big fun hero boys, they just don't realize it.


Since my life ain't going too groovy as we look down the barrel of potential homelessness, I'm going pretty hard with dissociating with edibles so I can divorce myself from my emotions and just focus on art. Wild how much that works for me, it's the only way I can manage art right now until our crisis is resolved. Makes the OCD so quiet for a bit, quite a nice reprieve. Though I seemingly put way more detail work into the background posters than the focal point, so OCD not COMPLETELY paused, apparently!
