Hey y’all! As my my loyal of followers, you know I value your opinions on what you want to see on my channel the most. I’m currently trying to narrow down what I want to film at Sweetwater GearFest next week.

Myself and a bunch of other ‘tubers are being flown out to Sweetwater. There will be companies with booths showcasing their newest gear for 2023, and I can film whatever I want to with them. Kind of a mini NAMM where only YouTube nerds can attend. Plus, SW will be putting together all kinds of fun ideas for us to goof around and collaborate (like the Rig Roulette video I did last year that was so fun).

You all know that I don’t use my channel as a “your ad here/please let me shill gear I don’t use” page. I have zero interest in making that kind of content, and they’re not asking me to. Sweetwater is amazing and trusts US to know what our followers want to see. So what do you think is best for me to create while I’m there?

Last year, with it being my first time and all, I filmed a bunch of stuff with these vendors that I never put out simply because it didn’t feel like me. I wanna come home with exciting and fun stuff!

Right now, I’m kinda thinking of the following things:

-live streaming fun stuff like the Marshall Wall they’ve built on my IG, maybe even taking requests of what to play through the loudest rig ever!

-instead of making individual videos with every vendor skimming over their entire product line, i would rather check out a booth, find ONE piece that excites me, and play around with it. Then put out one big video that’s “the coolest stuff I saw at Gearfest”. Thoughts?

-they’ll have private rooms set up to collaborate with other creators. I would LOVE to sit down with Pete Thorn and talk Van Halen, or hear Dime stories from Nick Bowcott. That kinda thing.

-I would even love to get into those private rooms with killer players like Corey Congilio and film them giving me a guitar lesson! I would love to learn from them and share the wealth.

Thanks for reading this long post! And thank you all for being a sounding board to help me find direction in my content. I’m all ears, so please let me know what you’d watch, and also what you WOULDN’T watch on my channel!

-BE

Oh and you and the guy from Riffs, Beards and Gear doing something together I think you are both hilarious! If you can get together with Pete Thorn and do some VH stuff that would be awesome as well.

What I wanted to see was Ben Eller taking a picture together with Brandon Ellis, holding his custom Jackson Kelley. Sometimes I guess you get what you wanted!
