Hey guys!!!

Thanks for the patience! As promised, here's the TABs for Peruvian Skies!

Someone in the comments pointed out that i had one wrong note in there, so i fixed it on the TAB, so follow it, not what i say in the video!!! Whoops. Its in the last cycle of chords, after that 17th fret b string half step bend; i played a D next (b 15) and it should have been an A (g 14). You'll notice i highlighted the chords each section is played against, too; really dive in and ask yourself what those notes mean to that chord! JP is great at note targeting, and this solo is a master class on it!

Also included is the jam track my buddy Jeff Rupert made. Its the first cycle of chords on loop, and its really fun to play against. Use the info about targeting chord tones we talked about in the video and have some fun with it!

Also also, i would LOVE if one of you all sent me a progress video of this solo that i can use for a future episode of The Lick Doctor, the patreon-only series where i help YOU get more better at whatever you're working on!!!! Learn it as best as you can, then email me a video of it explaining what you're finding tricky, and i'll help you out!!! Address is BenEllerGuitars at g mail dot com. Put "peruvian skies lick doctor" in the subject line so i can find it easier.

Thanks y'all! Play NICE!

Very cool. I love solos like this, and I really should be able to learn it. (I'll try to make time.) I do have a question. Given the info from the Drop D lesson just a week or so ago, I'm surprised the G is a major chord. Can you share your thoughts on why a G major chord would be used in the progression? I would have thought the chords would be along the lines of: Dm Edim F Gm Am Bb C

Great lesson. Relationships are key. Any chance of doing something similar with Another Day?
