Hello lovely and loyal Patrons!!!! You wanna know the best way to practice and learn scales in a fun and functional way!? Uncle Ben here is gonna take you to the DRONE ZONE and show you how!!! Watch the video to learn the power of drone practice, and click the Dropbox link below to download all the drone tracks i made for you guys! There's 3 folders in there, single note drones, major chord drones, and minor chord drones.

Over the single note drones, you can play any scale you want, major, minor, altered, whatever. So for example, over the B drones, you could try B major, B minor, B dorian, B hungarian minor, whatever you'd like to try!

Over the major chord drones, you can practice: -ionian -lydian -mixolydian -phrygian dominant  -lydian dominant -major pentatonic -altered scale -half/whole diminished  and more! Basically any scale that contains root, 3rd, and 5th.

Over the minor chord drones, try: -minor/natural minor/aeolian  -minor pentatonic -dorian -phyrgian  -melodic minor -harmonic minor -hungarian minor, and any other scale that contains root, flat 3rd, and 5th.

The BEST Way To Learn and Practice Scales on Guitar!

Downloadable TABs, backing tracks, bonus guitar lessons, and MORE here: https://www.patreon.com/BenEllerGuitars This week, ALL my Patreon supporters get access to a treasure trove of drone tracks that i made! 12 root notes, 12 major chords, and 12 minor chords, for a total of 36 super long drone tracks! Its everything you need to learn all your scales in every key! Get sweet deals on all the nice things i use here: https://imp.i114863.net/jxdA0 Hey kids, its your good buddy Uncle Ben Eller! One of the questions i get asked the most is "what is the best way to learn and practice scales and modes on the guitar?"; the answer is easy: you gotta take em to the DRONE ZONE!!! Practicing scales to a drone with help you understand and hear the harmony of that particular scale, plus free you from the obligation of keeping up with a metronome or jam track while you're still wrapping your fingers around it. It also helped me immensely cut down on "joyriding", aimlessly playing through patterns, and really help me with note targeting for SUPER melodic playing! Plus its definitely a lot more fun than just playing by yourself. Over the major chord drones, you can practice: -ionian -lydian -mixolydian -phrygian dominant -lydian dominant -major pentatonic -altered scale -half/whole diminished and more! and over the minor chord drones, try: -minor/natural minor/aeolian -minor pentatonic -dorian -phyrgian -melodic minor -harmonic minor In this video i'm gonna show you just how effective drone practicing is, so grab that guitar and hang on! Can I use your tracks to jam on for my YouTube channel? I want to get started with something to play over until I figure out how to make my own. Thanks Skip
