Artist-themed workout videos... good idea/bad idea? (Patreon)

Hey guys! Since everyone is staying so focused on improving their playing during these crazy times, i was trying to think of a cool way to get people motivated and inspired without just sitting by themselves in front of a metronome. I guess i've also gotten a little inspired by all the great workout videos on youtube that i've been taking advantage of to try and stay healthy while the gym is closed! I know if i wasn't following a video, i would do one pushup and call it a day, but following along with someone makes it easier to stay focused. 

So what i though up was doing guitar workout videos designed to get you in shape to play songs in the style of a particular artist; the exercises themselves would be on a timer and ripped straight out of a riff/lick from the artist's catalogue. Drum, guitar, and bass tracks would keep the groove going and make it more fun than just playing to a click. Each video would have a regular speed and slow speed version for beginners, and a time stamp for both.

So for example, i was thinking up a workout that would get your picking hand in the shape you need to keep up with James from Metallica. I would use snippets of actual Metallica riffs all specifically targeting a different facet of his killer rhythm playing. Something like:

"One" sextuplet blasts

"Battery" gallops

"Eye of the Beholder" downstroke 8's to alternate 16's

"Dyers Eve" speed blasts

"Master of Puppets" verse straight downstrokes

"Motorbreath" mixed gallops and 16's

Etc.... every workout going about 30-60 seconds with onscreen TABs so you can follow along.

Personally i think its fun and a lot cooler than the typical "do this picking exercise till you're blue in the face" idea. If its a hit, i could branch out into other artists too, including lead guitar shredders and stuff.
