All 3 if these are great in their own way. But TCoMC is one of my personal favorites. Its not a true adaption of the book but just a very enjoyable and entertaining movie overall.

The 2002 version of Monte Cristo is definitely the most obscure of the three (maybe less so now that Henry Cavill is a household name), but I put it up there with with The Mask of Zorro as one of the best adventure movies of the past thirty years. It’s a love letter to the classic swashbuckling adventure movies of the 30s and 40s—I know it’s cliché, but they really don’t make them like this anymore.

I have seen all three of these movies, and I remember kind of liking all of them well enough, but the only one I really remember is the Count of Monte Christo. Maybe because I saw it the first time in the theater, but I really liked that one. As basic revenge plots go, it's particularly well executed.

Kevin Reynolds is a solid nuts-and-bolts director. The Beast is a classic and one of my all-time faves.

Inception is just a Paprika rip off, they even bought the rights to it so they couldn't get sued
