Hey! I'm going to be having a very busy weekend meaning I'm also probably going to be posting to youtube later than Saturday. BUT I can definitely end the weekend on a fun note and was thinking of these films to check out Sunday night!

Mad Max is the only good one.

The only trouble here is you really should watch the original Mad Max films first to better appreciate Fury Road. Unless you already have seen them of course.

Eh, there's some references you might miss, but it's basically a standalone movie, there's not much connective tissue. I think all of them pretty much can be enjoyed independently.

Out of those 3 Mad Max. 100%! I really like Tom Hardy's portrayal of Max, but if you haven't seen the first two original Mel Gibson movies, (you can circle back to Thunderdome... or not... I guess everything I know about Australian law is from Thunderdome. It's not the WORST sequel in history...) you might not get what Tom Hardy brings to the role. Other than that, Mad Max movies are very much like random chapters of a book, so you can watch them in whatever the Hell order you feel like, and it's not like you will never watch these movies again anyway. Top tier film series!

Mad Max is surprisingly experimental in it's story, took me by surprise and is fantastic, very little CGI, a whole lot of real cars blowing up!

The previous Mad Max films are not essential watching in order to understand Fury Road. But the first two are well worth checking out some time down the road. (Thunderdome, not so much.) It’s really strange how after Fury Road blew everyone’s minds, the public forgot that The Road Warrior consistently ranked up there with Die Hard as one of the greatest action movies ever made. No one but film historians talks about that movie anymore, which just baffles me.

Mad max is ok. People have mixed feelings about it. But absolutely no one can argue with John wick

92% of google users like it, 97% by Rotten Tomato critics, and 86% by users. This is absolutely not a film to say people have "mixed feelings" about, the response has always been overwhelmingly positive!

If you have to watch one Mad Max film definitely Fury Road. Still holds up as some of the absolute greatest stunts ever put on film. Your jaw will literally drop when you see the theater of epic stunts they we're able to pull in this film.
