II havent gotten to this yet but I really hope you watched the theatrical release and not the director's cut. This is one of my all time fave films and the former still has some uncomfortable parts but the latter is just unwatchable to me.

The film “Colombiana” started off as a direct sequel to Leon that would have been all about an adult Mathilda. Luc Besson either couldn’t get financing for the sequel or couldn’t convince Natalie Portman to come back, so instead he relocated the story to Colombia, replaced Portman with Zoe Saldana, hired the guy who directed the infamous Taken 3, and Bob’s your uncle, you’ve got a movie more famous for what it almost was than what it actually is. Funny enough, Leon itself is a kinda-sorta spinoff of Jean Reno’s character from La Femme Nikita. His character in that movie is basically a rough draft of Leon. It’s a very interesting watch if you go into it from that perspective.

I actually subscribed to suggest this movie... haven't watched it yet & probably will wait for the youtube reaction. I hope so much you liked it & get it (americans tend to missinterpret her feelings). Anyway your facial expressions are always priceless hence your reactions are a joy to watch.
