It was really interesting. I enjoyed it the few times I’d seen it. More so because it was a theme back then. Two years before this movie came out PlayStation had a tech demo trailer called “Kara” which would, three years later I believe, lead to a game called Detroit: Become Human. Around that same time Humans was airing, starring Gemma Chan (aka Sersi) of the Eternals. And then two years later we got Blade Runner 2049 and the live action remake of Ghost In the Shell. Quite the period of human-like androids trying to figure out this thing we call life. I’m gonna watch your reaction now but I just figured I’d mention how for almost a full decade, this theme of androids wanting lives of their own was really popular.
