🛏️🛌 I had a huge crush on Cree. She was probably my favorite once Denise left. I went to college for a year at a school Saturday Night Live did a skit about. I wanted to be art major but there art classes that year e something happened to the professor. So I ended up an English major. My mom got sick so I came home to help with bills and never went back. Ended up continuing to teach myself art and now I’m a senior character artist so it all worked out. I will say that this show and school daze gave me a very different impression of what college would be like. My school was very laid back in terms of teacher student relationships and the approach to learning. Quite a bit different from the stressful representations media showed me. Also I suffered the imposter syndrome that Dwayne felt. Being labeled the “smart one” - when in fact all I’d done was read ahead of the class one year, left me in a constant state of feeling like I had to over perform while worried everyone would see I’m a faking it.
