Hey guys!  We've got a few format changes to announce with this week's Anime FMK.  Firstly, we're experimenting with livestreaming our recording sessions on twitch.tv/streamfourstar , which take place every Monday afternoon at around 1 or 2pm Central time.  For those of you who enjoy the podcast or YouTube version, this shouldn't affect your experience too much, since we cut out the bit drop acknowledgments and chat interaction isn't part of the show.  We're thinking of it less as "we're starting a new livestream!" and more as "we've got these cameras turned on anyway, it's just a couple button presses to turn the livestream on, so why not?"  If it continues to be a success we may consider committing to a strict start time and adding it to the regular schedule, but for right now it's more of a "check it out if you happen to be online when we happen to be recording" type of thing.

What might affect your experience is that we're also trying out doing the entire show as one session instead of separating it into the "main" show and the "Unsnipped" segment.  The idea behind splitting it up that way was that some people might enjoy a shorter "tl;dr" experience, but what we've found is that we're really kind of bad at keeping the "short" version actually short, that most people watch both anyway, and that splitting it up feels kind of awkward to us.

Let us know what you think of these changes and if you have any suggestions for the future!  We're always listening, and as always, thank you very much to all our Patrons for the love and support!

Consolidating the snipped and unsnipped segments totally makes sense. It's also nice to complete the whole discussion of an anime in one go. One thing I'll miss is the clickety-clackety.

No point in having a short version if it's going to be longer than 30 minutes.

I like this new format a lot better. I always wondered if it was a little awkward having to cut your discussions short in order to save them for Unsnipped. As I said on Twitter, this seems much more fluid. Awesome show this week, guys!
