Hello Patrons,

What a busy couple of months it's been; it seems so long since I last updated you all! As a team, we have all been waiting for the countdown to specific events like TANKFEST; now they have passed, it seems like they are a distant memory. And it's on to the next, like Christmas and Tiger Day!

I had a great time at my first TANKFEST. As The Tank Museum Media Crew, our job was to film the arena shows for World of Tanks Livestream. I'm sure many of you will have watched if you couldn't make it to the live event!

The set-up is quite complicated, and we operated out of our 'live streaming hut' on one of the banks, opposite the arena. It was full to the brim with equipment. From there, we connected three cameras around the arena, totalling ¾ of a mile of cables, which, as you can imagine, was a huge undertaking. It was exhausting but worth all the work to bring you all TANKFEST Online!

The days' challenges aside, the atmosphere of the whole event was great, and I was lucky to see all of the tanks so close up and capture the impressive tank action on film! My favourite part was the British Army Display - because the modern tanks are so cool, especially Megatron. What was yours?

Over the next few months, we are continuing to produce The Museums Weekly content for YouTube, creating the Christmas Ad – which I am especially excited for – and working on advertising and content for various events coming up. Do let us know if you're planning to come to any as we love to meet our Patrons.

Thank you once again for supporting my film internship at The Tank Museum. I'll update you all again soon!

That is a 'hut'. Jeeze, can you even stand up in it? I've seen more comfortable hunting blinds.

For a second... I thought that was the inside of some strange tank.
