A Gemstone-Themed Supplement

Direct Link: Stones of the Earthen - Questline Monthly

Issue Description:

A rift to the Plane of Earth has opened above a clear lake surrounded by snow-capped alps and grasslands. The elemental energy of the rift has turned the area arid and barren. The lake has completely dried and the absence of water has created a drought, causing the surrounding grasslands to wither. Earth elementals burrow throughout the drylands absorbing any moisture they come in contact with. Whether it be from the morning dew collecting on blades of grass or the blood of living creatures that once called this place home

2023-01-01 20:48:42 This is a lot of cool gem related stuff. Been looking for D&D gem related material. Though I am a bit confused about the gem attunements and arcane sockets. Are gem attunements separate from normal attunement? And with arcane sockets and joint attunement, does that mean the total number of gems one can attune to is still three? For example, you can't have two rare magic items with arcane slots and have 4 gems socketed and attuned to at a time. Apologies for the many questions, I just want to make sure I am understanding the rules. Still enjoyed all the material here.

Hey man! It’s a little confusing so let me clarify! Items you attune to with Arcane sockets still only count as 1 attunement. So if you CAN have theee Very Rare items for example and all can be equipped with 2 gems each! Hope this helps =)
