Macintosh LC 520 (Acquistion # 063) (Patreon)

Purchased from "BOB" in Sarnia for $25 Sept 5, 2005. For whatever reason, this was a model I really wanted to get at the time that the ad happened to pop-up. I contacted BOB and went to pick it up. BOB was underneath his truck working on something when I arrived, with a bunch of his friends standing around the truck. About the point I walked up,  BOB cut his hand open. He came up from under the truck bleeding badly, saw me and said, "Go inside, my mom will show you the computer. I got to go to the hospital." I wished him well. The computer was in really nice shape. I told his mom that I didn't need to see it power-on, and that her son is going to the hospital.

1. Hardly any yellowing, Keyboard and Mouse look barely used. The LC began to yellow in my basement, however, due to moisture.

2. Floppy drive had weak ejection at first, but improved with use.

3. The picture in Wikipedia for the LC 500 series was terrible, so in May 2006, I took a picture on my deck and replaced it. The author of the Wikipedia entry thanked me for the better picture. Years later, someone blacked-out the reflection of the sky in the CRT, which was fine with me.  By this time, the picture had spread all over the internet. In the Quadra 800 video, I made fun of the fact that a company in China had copyrighted it. 

4. In 2012 disasembled. Very clean inside. Yellowing between back and bezel was quite different where bezel was more yellowed. Retrobrighted.
