So there goes the Five Venom Fists. I do love how the last one is dealt with entirely by Mele. Sure the Gekirangers fight Gex the Gecko there, but I just love how this episode showcases one of the strongest points of this show: The villains grow as well, as you can see how Mele trains herself against the Geki Cannon. The two sides push each other to new levels of strength. Of course while the Gekirangers have their cat teacher... Well, maybe it's time for Rio and Mele to get a new teacher. Speaking of masters... Each new master on the Gekiranger's side are named after Martial Arts stars, with Master Elehung Kam Po being named after Sammo Hung(Apparently Japan either writes or says his name as: "Samo Han Kinpo", so Elehung's full name being what it is kind of makes sense there.) Also fun fact: Elehung's voice actor actually played Sammo Hung in the Japanese dubs of his movies. ...Though while he goes a little TOO far into the Roshi role here, him going all 'Quagmire' is at its worst in the first episode. xD It'll be a while before we start completing the whole ranger set though.
