Tail: SPEAKING OF LIGHTING. But no really, I’ve developed some new techniques to handle lighting in my work and it really comes to fruition throughout these pages… but enough about lighting.

Jess: Yeah, early on I knew I wanted their first time to be something intense, a hurricane that sweeps across the house shot after shot… and just when you think It’s over, “Again!” Though they will  connect on many levels their sex life is a big one. You know the saying what happens when an unstoppable force hits an immovable object? Well I introduce to you “When a never ending need runs into a never ending stamina.” Their sex lives, and the house, will never be the same  haha

Tail: I actually chuckled at that. I think we certainly are getting that across this chapter, and will remain doing so. Jessica was hard pushing that three panel time passage from the beginning. It ended up coming along nicely though. It was a lot of work though. Haha. Especially with the lovely top panel. I love their posing. I had roughed out their poses and we were just kicking it around. However, the rough was so good we just ended up using it for the final… I love when that happens.

Jess: One of the first non TF works I saw from Tail was this time lapse of a room, and I was like I need that in this story. A time lapse to show they fucked all day and into the night. But it was also to showcase his ability. I think it served the story and artist well. When I work with an artist I look for things they do extremely well, as well as things they thoroughly enjoy. When you have a partnership you have your lanes to stay in, but you need to constantly cross over and let them into yours as well. You need to know your artists thoughts on the content, but also the depth of their skill and passion. They are bringing your words to life, you should work just as hard to make sure they have representation in your words as a writer.

Tail: Oooo. I like the way she thinks… But it is true. It’s really important when you are a team to act like it and work together, even if it means letting the other person into your lane, as she says. I’ve helped a little with writing, but I mostly just like to ask questions. I find it’s a good way to sort out a world. Haha. We’re definitely capitalizing on our strengths here, I think.

Jess: Questions are a writer’s best friend, they are how you go from a basic plot to a breathing thriving world. Also… it helps you remember what you have explained, and what’s still in your head waiting to come out.

Tail: That’s really how this started, was me asking Jessica a bunch of questions. Haha. We did it even the other day. Questions are some of my favourite things; and when you have someone brilliant like Jessica with answers, they come easily.

Jess: Too kind Tail, but I do my best. I just… everything about chapter one’s wrap up I love. I can’t wait till it’s all finally out.

Tail: I’m eager as well.
