Major changes (Patreon)

Changes in the extension distribution.

Starting right now (February 29, 2024), support for the new version of "Rinine CharacterAI Tools" for the new character.ai website begins.

This brings significant changes. 

As the page is a completely new website (both inside and out) nothing of the current extension works on the new site, and not only that, but it is not adaptable (since it captures, modifies, and injects functionality into the specific structure of the old site).

So, a parallel (but integrated) development for the new website has begun. 

From today, a new optional modern design is offered, and gradually all the functions that already exist in the extension for the old site will arrive. 

But I have to develop them again one by one, along with an improved version of the memory manager, so it will take time. (The current version has been developing day by day since May 2023).

Support for the "old site" will not stop, but it will be maintained at a minimum (critical bugs) to focus on the development of the new version.

To be able to use the extension on the new site, an active subscription will be necessary. 

This means that ending your subscription will also end access to the new site. This extends from today to new subscribers as well for the old site.

As I promised and continue to maintain, every one of you who are or were subscribers at any time (1071 of you) will all have access allowed with your extension versions to chat1 and chat2, which is what you paid for. 

However, the new site is a new project to redo and will be monetized differently. 

To clarify doubts, the status is as follows:

If you were ever a subscriber, even if it was not for months, your version of the extension, the one you were able to download during your subscription period will always have access to the old site, since all of you who have supported the project until today are part of a "whitelist" that allows you access.

This means that the 1071 users who supported at some point, if in the future you subscribe for a specific month and then unsubscribe, you will continue to have access without the need for a permanent subscription for the old site.

On the other hand, for all users who subscribe from February 29 onwards, access to the old site (chat1 and chat2) and to the new site will only be operational while there is an active subscription.
