I’ve been experimenting with new painting methods lately and wanted to do something different for the extra reward! Several weeks ago, we reached 500 patrons here!! 🥹🥹 🎉🎉 So, for the extra reward, I wanted to do something fun!

The milestone includes two extra rewards, so I will consider the next reward to match this piece! 🐠✨

I haven’t done a closeup of a character in a while so I’m really enjoying adding all the small details! Here’s what it looks like so far; let me know what you think! 😊😊

Last year, I had the pleasure of illustrating a cover for Miya T. Beck’s new book, “The Pearl Hunter.” I had an amazing experience creating this cover since the team gave me a lot of creative freedom to play around with the different motifs and symbols from the book! 😊🌊

✏️ Sketchbook Prompt Challenge ✏️

The sketchbook prompt challenge is due on January 27th! The theme is Woodland Creatures! 🍄🐿️🐰 

I have a small watercolour pad with me, so I might try sketching the animals in watercolour! I’m a little scared they’re going to look like blobs haha since I don’t have a lot of experience painting in watercolour, but you gotta start somewhere, right? 😂😂🧡🧡
