Hello Dukes Matty Ice and Lord Cog, With the new reports coming in that PS5 Pro and Switch 2 are expected within the next year. Does Xbox truly need a pro device? Or should we expect them to announce possible next gen hardware within a couple of years instead? PS Last Stand did Cog DIRTY for cutting his out going message to the Duke family. Colin must pay. Much love and take care.

Greetings Elf Warrior Matty and Dwarf Warrior Cog! Hope you're both conquering the day. Matty, after the Peloton saga and your leap into weight training, I'm curious: what's holding you back from teaming up with an online coach or pro trainer, like Lord Cognito did? With your history of a injury, serious back your training approach seems like it should be more than just easing into it. Crafting a spreadsheet of exercises is a solid start, but isn't there a more structured, scientifically sound way to gain strength without fear of reinjury? What if seeking an expert, just like you did after getting injured, could transform your resilience, ensuring you're injury-proof? Is it a bit of ego, thinking you can tackle this solo? Many listeners might be in a similar boat, looping through progress and setbacks instead of following a strategic, RPG-like progression path. I'd love to hear your thoughts on seeking guidance to avoid making fitness our Final Fantasy, and instead, make it our Rebirth. 🧙🏼‍♂️ Walt

What’s up boys, I’m on a health kick right now. Last year I took a year off drinking and that alone dropped about 15kg. This year I’ve been doing 10km a day on my rowing machine and that’s been great, however, I want to get into lifting but don’t know too much about. What’s the best way to go about this to try minimise injury? Thanks legends

Greetings Dukes FFXIV comes out in Beta form this week and although it's only for new players I am stoked for this game to finally make the jump. This is the GOAT Final Fantasy by leaps and bounds. Best Story. Best Soundtrack(s) Best Boss Fights Best Cat Girls Also, if FFXIV crash and burns on Xbox does that mean FF: Reamke/Rebirth and XVI never comes ... ? Have a "Did FF always have cat girls?" kind of day.

Hello fellas With the Summer showcase rapidly approaching, I was wondering if you think we'll have another single game direct, like last year with Starfield? I've seen a lot of people say that Fable would be the game, but in my opinion, Sate of Decay would be great for that type of deep dive. Your thoughts? Thanks as always, and have yourselves an A1 day

Greetings to the Incomparable Cog and Meticulous Matty, Fellas, news is now coming out about the large swathe of layoffs throughout many of Playstations studios. Heavy-hitter studios like Naughty Dog and even Insomniac aren't spared from this. With so many companies in the gaming industry recently laying off massive amounts of employees, I'd like to hear your take on this new information. To me, it truly feels like a "trimming the fat" era due to over-hiring in the Covid years. If a company that releases a great game like Spider-Man 2 isn't safe, then there has to be an overarching reason throughout the gaming and tech industry for all of this. What's your guys take? Thanks for all that you guys do and keep it up!

Greetings Matty and Cog. I hope this week finds you both well. Yes it's PlayStation news, but it impacts this industry as a whole so I think it's worth talking about here. Tuesday, PlayStation announced the closure of London Studios, and downsizing and Layoffs at Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, and more. PlayStation is currently has the large majority of the "high performance" console market locked down. They make 100% of the profit off of their own games within that market. Microsoft has just started bringing their games to that larger market to save themselves, but Plays doesn't really have that option. Xbox is a smaller market and Nintendo Switch, at least for now, can't hope to run what PlayStation is selling. They don't have another market to go to. My question is simple: will there be a PlayStation 6?
