Top of the Morning to the Dukes. I have seen a lot of discourse about the IGN review of COD MW3. Is it me or should we all just top making a big fuss about other people reviews? Be it good or bad, I think just moving along and keep it gaming and positive is more important than giving attention to every single aspect someone notes negative. Have a Tekken tournament Perfect kind of day.

Hello Matty and Cog With the news of how poor the recent Modern Warfare 3 is reviewing, specifically, its mind-boggling short, 4-hour, $70 dollar campaign, do you think it is at all possible that Xbox could take this personally now owning the IP? Is it at all possible that Xbox could now feel obligated to involve itself in the development of future Call of Duty titles to ensure higher-quality products, especially with a similar fiasco like Redfall not far behind us? Thanks and have a “Will Matty ever hang up that mega man wall art?” kind of day.

Good evening Dukes, I’m poking the bear one more time! Matty, I was shaken up to see the Zenless Zone sponsor in the latest MW Campaign review from you, and have to press again about mobile Gacha titles. Do you, after having to possibly do some research into Zenless Zone, think Xbox should look to get a mobile Gacha port for themselves after ABK? Cog, feel free to chime in as well and you fellas have a “Three Hopes is underrated” kinda day.

Dukes, have you ever believed something that was totally ridiculous well into your adulthood? Until I was about 21, I believed with the utmost certainty that cold pizza had substantially less calories than warm pizza. If I wanted to "eat clean", then I'd just order a pizza and let it sit in the refrigerator over night. Absolutely insane. Please tell me I'm not alone. Cheers, and have a "drink water to cancel out the carbs from the pizza" type of day.

Hey Dukes, With Blizzcon this past weekend it was pretty clear Blizzard has a renewed sense of purpose under Xbox in the super early days. Numerous articles have come out with Mile Yarbara talking about a new sense of independence under Xbox. Just wanted your thoughts on this, this all seems great so far. I hope ABK gets dissolved and have each be an individual vertical along with XGS and Bethesda. Getting other first party games and features from Battle.net is also paramount I would say. Also Blizzard’s marketing and cinematic’s team could help a lot of teams out. What collaborations would you like to see with Blizzard? Have a Mike Ybarra was a sleeper agent and Xbox played the long game kinda day. Steven

Fellas, have either of you played Like A Dragon: Gaiden yet? Matty, if you’ve started Yakuza 3, how are you enjoying it so far? Personally, I liked the island setting and the family vibe with both the kids and the crew, but the gameplay did feel tedious at times. Thanks and have a “What series makes Cog go YO! more than this one?” kind of day.

well well well I couldn't help but notice you didn't talk about Mario Wonder in the "what we've been playing section" last week. What happened? Are you afraid to be caught at the playground sitting indian style with the kids? You seem to have no issue talking about that rabies ridden blue rat, but when the objectively better game comes out, suddenly mums the word and you have nothing to say? For shame matty, for shame. Anyways, you can talk about Mid Ocean now.

Hey Dukes I cant help but notice that Matty always becomes extra critical of Playstation exclusive games, but always goes soft on Xbox exclusive games even though they are the ones that deserve more critique. Matty's gripe with Spiderman 2 is the ending of some side quests and goes extra hard on them even though they are so good and tease so good villians for next entries or DLCs, dont you think that the villians presented in this sequel were enough? You also mention Spiderman 2 not making your Top 10 list of games this year, can you please list these 10 games that are above Spiderman 2? Anyways, have a "Matty's not a biased at all" kind of day

Greetings Dukes, I've been greatly relishing my experience with Star Ocean Second Story R. The art style, music, mechanics, and gameplay are truly exceptional. However, it's hard to shake the feeling that Xbox users are missing out on a real gem. Considering the improving relationship between Xbox and Square, is there a possibility of this game making its way to the platform in the near future? And could we even hope for it to be available on Game Pass? Best, Sean M.

Hello Beefy Dukes, After bettering myself the past year, I actually have a date lined up in two weeks! As one Duke who's happily in a relationship and another who is beefy, any advice for a lonely late 20 something? Have a 'why does a nick brawler look so good' kind of day.

Hello, dukes my question is really simple I was listening to the iron Lords podcast last Sunday, and somebody mentioned that you bungee can not leave Sony because Sony owns them, meanwhile, some members of the panel said that that was not true. so how exactly is that bungie can leave Sony? base of my understanding they only have creative control and ownership of the IP as a studio but if the studio want to leave, Sony can easily fight them and take all the IP and leave them with nothing. I would love if you guys can shine some lied on this topic. Thanks and have a good day.

Greetings Dukes, After listening to your GOTY talk, it made me think. Cog talked about how Starfield deserves to be there because the people have spoken by the sales and number of players. That’s a sentiment I completely agree with, and Starfield definitely deserves it. But by that metric, shouldn’t Hogwarts Legacy be in the discussion as well? It’s still one of the top selling games of the year and has a mid-80s Meta/OpenCritic. I don’t think it should be nominated, but it seems to check all the boxes Starfield does.

Hey NogDawgs, I am a true Eggnog fanboy. And let me tell you, if you are not making homemade Eggnog, you need to start ASAP. I have always loved the nog, so much so that I call winter the Cream Season. For the past 6 years, I started making eggnog from scratch, which has changed the game. My nog recipe creates a custard/pudding consistency, and it can be so thick I have to grab a spoon or some boba straws. For me, this makes a versatile nog that is drinkable, and that can be used as a topping on your favorite dessert or beverage like coffee or hot chocolate. My recipe is below if you want to give it a try. Now have yourself a IDK what kind of cream that is, but it was tasty kind of day. Christmas Eggnog 12 eggs, separated 2/3 cup (130 g) sugar 3/4 cup (180 ml) bourbon 3/4 cup (180 ml) cognac 1/4 cup (60 ml) creme de cacao 1 tsp (5 ml) nutmeg 1 tbsp (15 ml) vanilla extract 3 pints (1500 ml) heavy cream 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) cream of tartar Cinnamon Sticks for garnishing METHOD: Separate eggs by placing yolks in a large punch bowl and egg whites in a smaller bowl. To the egg yolks, add sugar, nutmeg, alcohols and vanilla and set aside. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream on high with an electric mixture until stiff peaks form, set aside. In another bowl add egg whites and cream of tartar, whip on high until stiff peaks form. Fold in the heavy cream to the yolk mixture, in batches being careful not to over mix and deflate, then fold in the egg whites. It will be extremely thick! Garnish punch bowl with a sprinkle of nutmeg and then ladle into small punch cups. Top each cup with more nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Hey dukes, I know the $70m acquisition wasn’t solely for Call of Duty, but it has to be said that the first call of duty released under Microsoft being a piece of hot trash cannot be the start anyone at MS wanted. Does this bear any cause for concern for the future?

Hey Dukes First time commenter, love the health & wellbeing stuff you do. After another N7 day of meaningless teases, is it time for BioWare to sunset N7 day as a whole? May we all live to see many more N7 days! MK

Greatings Spector Matty and Biotic God COG Always a pleasure to be in the realm of the Dukes. Especially after getting a fresh N7 day drop. At times it can feel like the new Mass effect is so far away, but moments like these help that makes you say Keelah se'lai (But for the game and not for a homeworld.) With all of that, I figure it's a good time to get our speculation on. So, what system or features would you like to see brought to this future installment. I definitely would like to see a homebase like location that you do your missions out from like a combo of the homestead from AC3 and the castle Skyhold from Inquisition. Having a place you go back to whenever you get done from a mission and maybe seeing the people that you encountered on said missions in the location would be quite enjoyable. Especially with it being after the mass relays have been destroyed. It would make things feel a lot more different and stakes. But what say you Dukes? Have a " Wondering why Lord Beefies be having these random health scares but then hear him saying he's dying to hear something for the 8th time on an episode or how something killing him for the 4th time, and realize he's been playing chicken." kind of day!

Sup Dukes I'm just looking to hear your thoughts on Alan Wake II. Personally, it's my game of the year and I hope Matty would agree that this is a rare and shining example of a AAA game with actually good writing and mature storytelling. It should also serve as an example to the wider industry that you can make a visually and conceptually impressive game at a AAA level for less than $100 Million. Are you guys enjoying it as much as me, and will this be the push Matty needs to finally play Control? Thanks for reading, Colton

Colin, doyou have any thoughts on The Escapist firing Nick Calandra and Yahtzee resigning? They started Second Wind on YouTube and Patreon. It seems you are a trend setter once again much like with you and Lsm (formerly CLS). Would you be willing to have Nick or Yahzee on to discuss?
