Howdy crew, I'm turning 40 on Monday and I'm pretty bummed out but I don't know why. Just in the last 7 years I've got married and now have two great boys ages 2 and 5. I have a good life but this birthday really does feel like going to be "over the hill". I have a simple request, please tell me joke. Thanks Travis Berry

Hello, fellas. In the last episode, Dustin said that people don't drift away from console gaming as they age. I strongly disagree, as most mainstream gamers do abandon this hobby as they take other responsibilities in life such as jobs, wife and children. This point is critical to understand what's happening in the games industry right now: as the covid bubble bursts and the population ages, growth is stagnating. Could we already be past hardcore gaming's peak? Keep it up and thanks for all you do.

Hey CDC, I’m a little late to the party but congrats on the wedding Colin! So I’ve been mulling this over in my head but wanted to hear what you gents had to say. With the talks surrounding how this is the best year for games but also one of the hardest on the industry as a whole it brings an interesting point. On one side the consumer is getting amazing game after amazing game but on the other side we are seeing layoffs all over week after week. I’m sure a lot of the issues stem from the pandemic and the overspending of these companies the last few years but can the course be corrected? Will we continue to see these large companies grow until they combust? Will the general consumer ever be “educated” about games the same way they are with television and movies with these companies giving a more real look behind the scenes? Are these just the growing pains of a relatively new industry? Thanks for the hours of great content. I’ll hang up and listen now

Hey gents, Wondering if you saw that Star Citizen: Squadron 42, has finally achieved content completion, after a long 10 years. I thought what they showed from their gameplay showcase looked fantastic personally, the soundtrack especially stood out to me in the opening minutes. Curious what your thoughts are on the business model as well, with some people literally waiting a full 10 years to see a return on their investments. Anyways, cheers from my fake country of Canada!

Greetings gents, With the Portal less a week away how well do you think it will do? I am pumped for mine to arrive but it seems like outside of the gaming hardcode, most people don't even know the Portal exists. Do you think that with it being a remote play-only device Sony is worried about how it is marketed? Also, do you think it will carry on the illustrious tradition of prior Sony handhelds and end up getting cracked open for pirated software? As the leaks made it seem it was running Android, I would be shocked if the hardware could not handle SNES/GBA emulators. Much love from the UK, Gabe
