Hello Punching Up Crew, I wanted to express my reasoning as to why I'm so excited about Mario vs. Donkey Kong upcoming release. When I was growing up in Greece, I was the first person in my village to get the game and beat it. I didn't even know what a Game Boy was until a summer when a German family visited for a vacation. I became friends with their son and we would hang out every day, playing his Game Boy. He had 2 games with him, Gargoyles Quest and Donkey Kong. We couldn't understand each other but that Game Boy started a friendship. When he left he gave me his Game Boy and those 2 games as a gift to say goodbye and told me in broken English that I barely knew " have Game Boy home too" Little did he know that kind gesture would start a lifetime of gaming. I would show off the games to my friends and we all loved Donkey Kong. For the longest time I couldn't get past certain levels but I kept at it and I was the only kid who beat the game in my village! Suffice to say, alongside Gargoyles Quest, Donkey Kong holds a special spot in my heart. I am so excited for Mario v. Donkey Kong, I can't wait to play it and remember the good times back home. Thank you for all your efforts, I love the show. Sincerely, Yiorgos

Hey crew, How hyped is everyone for Super Mario Bros Wonder? I played the demo at target and it was a lot of fun. The new additions to the gameplay are quirky and add more to the game than I expected.

Hello folks, What was the first Nintendo game, you remember playing? Thanks for all the great content.

Hello pungent punchers, Please play “Would You Rather?” as a podcast game. The inspiration comes from the long running podcast Comedy Bang Bang! Example: Would you rather play Super Man 64 or shave your head? Each member takes turns asking questions to get the fine grain details of the scenarios. A player may ask, “How long do I have to play Super Man 64?” The host may respond with something outrageous like, “The time it takes to grow your hair back.” This goes on for awhile until one is chosen. Keep punching babies, Chris

Good day fungi eaters, I recently bought a Nitro Deck and after a short time using it I have to say it's one of the best Switch accessories I've ever bought. I've always preferred to play in handheld mode and have suffered from stick drift and hand cramping with the joy cons. The Nitro Deck knocks out both of these issues and basically turns the Switch into a Steam Deck. What are some of your favorite accessories you've bought for the Switch over the years and will anyone be picking up a Nitro Deck? Thanks for all things LSM!

Hello brick breakers, I was excited to hear last episode that Dagan is excited for Sonic Superstars. I thought Gene would be the only one looking forward to the platformer. Dagan and Gene, what exactly are you excited for about the game? Even as a life long fan, I am worried that it won't be on par with the Genesis classics. I am not going into this expecting Sonic Mania 2, but am hoping it will still be good.

Hey Punching Up crew, Super Mario Bros Wonder is out this week but where the hell is the Switch port of Mario Galaxy 2?! Could they be saving it for the Super Nintendo Switch (Switch 2) if a new 3D Mario game isn't ready for launch?

Yo Brick Fisters! Not a question, but a shout out. Let’s take a second to give Micah her flowers for being the realest brick fister out here. After Gene missed last week, Micah is now the only host with perfect attendance. The rest of you need to get on her level. This is a Nintendo podcast for God’s sake, start treating it like one. All jokes aside thanks for all the content and I’m happy to have you back Gene.

G’day Punching up crew, hope all is well. Apart from when big AAA games release for switch, my Switch has become basically obsolete. The switch has had an amazing run and provided some truly great gaming experiences. But since I mainly game on the Ps5 I find it continually difficult to come back to the switch and it’s extremely outdated and sluggish performance. For myself I’m afraid the era of the switch is over but at least I’m left with the memories of some amazing games. So my question is simple. Out of everything that’s come out so far, what is your favourite switch game of all time?

9-11 is a reference to MGS 2

Sup Zelda fisters, In your opinion, what is the most underrated Nintendo game of all time? Me personally, it would have to be Super Mario Land 2 for the original Gameboy. It has many elements I wish Mario games would have in today’s contemporary titles such as the option to choose any world you want from the get go or the fact that you’re not just rescuing Peach from Bowser, you’re actually going against Wario and collecting 6 golden coins to reclaim Mario’s island; plus the music is absolutely incredible! I’ll hang up and listen now!

Say you had to *become* a Nintendo character, and live your life as them. Which character do you choose?

Hey crew, hope all is well. I've a question aimed at Dustin but all input welcome of course. Dustin recently mentioned that he successful in acquiring an Analogue Pocket which is what prompted this question. It's no secret that Pokemons' quality as of late has been... debatable... but somewhat lesser known is that online there is a fairly large developer/player base for "romhack" versions of Pokemon. These can range from quality of life improvement hacks of existing games to entirely new regions and Pokémon hacks. I was wondering if any of you have experience with the weird world of Pokemon Rom hacks and specifically for Dustin, do you intend on trying out any on your new hardware? Cheers!

Hey guys, Nintendo recently stated that the Nintendo switch will be supported up to 2024/2025. Do you think this will be for new first party releases or more for remakes/remasters of older titles? I just hope we don’t get a classic Jim Ryan “we believe in generations” and only have a few games worth getting the new system for. Thanks for all you do and keep fisting those goombas.

Hello Rick fan club, Mr.Furman that hamster that you were so curious about is named Rick. I implore you to please play Kirby’s Dreamland 3. Not only can you play as Rick and use his awesome powers but there is a stage where he is literally jumping from mountain to mountain to get to his girlfriend at the end whose name is Pick. What a true romantic. Not to mention the awesome Samus and other Nintendo cameos. KDL3 is one of the greats. Please consider my request and have a Ziptastic day.

Hello men and woman. What genres would you like to see Mario make the jump to? Mario Chess? A Mario musou? How about a Mario visual novel?

Hello fisters of the brick. Love the show. First time submitting. This one is for Dustin! Last time he asked about the animal Kirby was riding. His name is Rick. Kirby has a lot of animal friends that pair up with him in dreamland 2&3. Rick(Hamster), Pitch(Bird), Coo(Owl), Kine(Sunfish), ChuChu(Octopus), Nago(Cat). Dreamland 3 is amazing 👏
