While selling more than a million copies and finding a somewhat dedicated fanbase (at least for a short time), PSAS ultimately passed like a fart in the wind when future DLC plans were abandoned in 2013. Since then, PlayStation fans have been left wondering what a new crossover fighter could look like, particularly considering how immensely strong the brand has become in the console generations since.
