Hey boys, Thanks for all you do but I gotta show love to Micah and Holly… When Micah first appeared in podcasts, I thought “where has she been all my life?”. And now, the same shit happened with Holly: “where has she BEEN all my life?!” We need more of them, keep them coming! Thank you Joan (Joe-on)

Hey CDC, mostly CD: with the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection being another successful bunch of Mega Man games brought to modern consoles, I believe all that’s left is Mega Man Legends and Starforce. After the weird cancellation of Legends 3, are we Legends fans shit out of luck? Colin, any insight on why Capcom seems to avoid Legends so much? Dustin, do you have any hope? Thanks yall.

Greg Dawson

Hey CDC. On the subject of FF Pixel Remasters (if it comes up). Ive played bits of 3, 4, 5 and 6 on different handhelds over the years but my main FF games/era growing up was 7, 8 9 & 10. I was excited to go back and finally scratch these off my personal gaming sins list. Finished 1 and 2 now, working on 3. I feel like 1 gets a lot of stick for being basic and short but I enjoyed it more than 2 and so far, more than 3. Something about it being simple is endearing, where as the hidden walls and chests in the maze like dungeons of 2 and 3 was at first interesting, I'm now finding tiresome to be honest. Turning off random encounters definitely helps and I love the boosts and feel now shame at all using them to experience these games. What say you about the quality of 1 vs 2 and 3 - and also using the provided cheats to smooth the experience?

Greetings gentlemen! I’ve finally made the decision to upgrade to a PS5 and I’m wondering if now is a good time to do so, or if there is a possibility of a PS5 “Pro” being announced and subsequently released within the year? Love the content and keep up the fantastic work! Thank you!

Nathan Densley

Hello Boiz, I know Colin has expressed nothing could interest him in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. But Dan Stapleton at IGN, a generally hard reviewer gave it a 9. And other reviewers are giving it the thumbs up. Are any of you going to or are playing it?

I’m an Xbox fan and I listen every week to your show because you guys do a great job looking at Sony from both sides of the fence. (Dreams was a colossal waste of money. I agree) The industry has been doom and gloom on Xbox for a while but let’s flip the script. Just as scientists argue the end of our world what would end Sonys domination of the console space. Is it VR3 headset? $79/$89/$99 games? PS+ price increase? Horizon TV Series fails and underwhelms. Or the ultimate jump the shark moment - Last of Us 5 is science fiction and we go back and save Joel because he’s the key to saving the world. Using your powers to prognosticate what is the doom scenario for PS.

Anonymous

Hey fellas! Have you guys ever considered making the spoilercasts into their own separate show? The episodes would obviously come out whenever there is a game you want to talk about, much like now. However, having them independent of the main shows would give you the opportunity to potentially talk about games that aren't just on PlayStation or Xbox. Keep up the good work!

Greetings Sacred crew! I was listening to one of the previous episodes and the topic of how great Bioshock would be on the VR2 brought to mind of the long lost bioshock port to the vita, Which brings the question! Are there any confirmed patents or announcements that you three wish were brought to fruition but never was? Personally I'd love to have seen Agent, The Rockstar/Sony collaboration which could've brought some high quality stealth action espionage to the playstation 3 but was unfortunately abandoned Would love to hear your answers and thanks for all you do!

Hello CDC. Longtime listener and with a 2 hour daily commute I really don't mind the length of your podcast, especially when all you guys have a great sense of humor. I wanted to make a use case for the hypothetical remote play handheld Sony is going to release. I've tried remote play with both a SteamDeck and PC (and Vita, back on the PS4) and even with a beefy router the lag input and video quality is pretty bad. I'm anticipating that this handheld will provide a direct wireless connection to the PS5 similar to the Wii U, where input lag was a non-issue This would make it much more worth my time. Additionally we shouldn't downplay that it will supposedly integrate the PS5 controller with adaptive triggers, which many consider the best controller on the market today.

This question is geared more towards Colin so I apologize Dustin and Chris. Has Barry or you ever considered putting any of your games on PS+ Extra or Essential? Would this be something you're ok with or completely opposed to?

Sacred Men, What do you think of the ABK deal being blocked based only on Cloud gaming? Thanks and have a great day!

Anonymous

Hey CDC, Gotta say fellas. How are we feeling about the deal being blocked!? Looks like the king hasth spoken

Anonymous

Hey boobies, The CMA has officially moved to block Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard King. The online chatter about this has been quite infuriating. Sony fanboys are acting like the deal would’ve crushed Playstation and Xbox fanboys are acting as if this deal not going through means the end of Xbox as a brand. Why do both camps seem to think that the ABK acquisition happening or not is such an important deal needed to save each respective company? Is Call of Duty really that important? Moreover, what do you guys think this means for the future of the acquisition and for the industry at large? Thanks, and keeping pumping that chicken.

Hello Sacred Bros! First time, long time. I’ve been playing video games since the 80’s and was first introduced to the original NES as a Christmas gift. Then I moved onto Sega Genesis because I really wanted to play Joe Montana football. The first PlayStation I bought was the PS2, and what sold me on it was Metal Gear Solid 2. I’ve loved PlayStation ever since. My question is what sold you on your first PlayStation experience? Thanks for keeping me sane while I drive a truck everyday, you guys are the best!

Hey Sacred Cartel, With PlayStation keeping the work all their studios are doing close to the chest, could we be in store for the exclusive release schedule that the Xbox has been waiting for? Outside of the handful of games left that we do know about, there are (based on my rough estimate) 25 unannounced titles. It's long been said that when Xbox bought the original batch of studios this would theoretically allow them to release exclusive titles almost every few months in the future. And yet since that original batch of studio purchases, it's looking like PlayStation, not Xbox, is on track to have a pretty interesting back-half of the PS5 lifecycle. This is of course assuming all, or most, of those unannounced titles are PS5 games. Do you think that is wishful thinking? Or could we be on the cusp of a fantastic, back-half of the PS5 lifecycle? Thanks for your time, and be well!

Hello CDC, With the Activision deal falling through based on ‘cloud gaming’, its nice to see Google Stadia finally do something impactful in the gaming space, by simply dying. Cheers gents. Jacko from England

Hey Colin and co, greetings from downunder! This one is mainly for Colin since it’s about trophies, but how do you feel about the trophy lists for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters? I can’t help but feel they really phoned it in, especially with the treasure chest and beastiary trophies. I reckon this is enough to stop me even bothering to try and get the platinums in any of them… how about you? Cheers for all you do Nat

Michael (ObjoGaming)

You guys talk about Chris Chan all the time, but never seem to bring up the fact that he isn't far from where Colin is. If Colin can protect himself from Chris's rampage do I see a potential crossover in the future?

Hey guys! So, how do I Discord? I don't mean gain access to your Discord, but how should I engage in the conversational channels?Jumping in seems pretty intimidating. Besides the obvious "Don't be an asshole" etiquette. I love the memes channel and regularly post and react, but I'm 34. Learning a whole new social media is pretty intimidating. Thanks, and be the chicken's plus one at a social event sometime!

Not a question but if possible wanted to give thanks and a shout to Robert from Dublin Express who helped me recover my 11 year old Vita that I left on the bus. Guy saved my trip and actually knew what a Playstation Vita is so in case he is a fan of the show - thank you Robert! That little handheld travelled the world with me and I was totally devastated when I reallzed I have left it on the bus. Thank you Team!

What’s up CDC! Last week you guys talked about Nintendo being very strict when it comes to their IPs. This may be true for the most part but I’ve come across a free to play Pokémon Red/Blue VR game you can play on the Quest 2. The game is called Pokequest is a complete remake of the original games but in VR and is still being updated to this day. Also this game has been available for close to 2 years. I’m sure Nintendo knows about this games existence, so why haven’t they taken any legal action against it?

Hey gang, I listen to your podcast while I work on contract airplane cockpits in fort worth Texas. I work with the airforce, companies like Draken, and right now I'm catching up on the last few episodes while I work on an L159 ALCA jet cockpit. Google it, shit is cool

Hi lads - hope you're all well, I wanted to write in to ask you what you thought about Activision Blizzard's official response to the CMA's blocking of the acquisition? Being from the UK myself, it felt very uncomfortable to read their strange threat to cut down on UK growth and warn other businesses to do the same and to essentially stay away from the UK. It suggested that the merger would help the country as a whole, even going so far as to insult our economic difficulties which are a real issue for people across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. I've never seen a response like this. Are ABK throwing a tantrum? What will Microsoft do next? And will the deal ever go through? Keen to hear your thoughts, All the very best, Joe Fray

Rob Kvasne

Dear Sacred Bois, Colin, you have warned that the PlayStation audience might not like what PlayStation is working on as the industry moves towards a free to play, micro transactioned distopia. Have your feelings changed on this at all now that we are a little deeper into the generation? I was also curious if you and your sons have envisioned how they might break this news of unflattering games? Maybe a Wired article every couple of months to announce a new title until we are surrounded? Or do you imagine a showcase with 90 minutes of new titles all with the Fortnite aesthetic? Personally, I want to see Jim Ryan at CES demonstrating a new line of games that will "Excite a new base of PlayStation gamers", complete with Jim Ryan gameplay and close-ups of him using the controller. I'd love to hear what you all think! Keep up the great work.

Hello Sacred fellas, I wanted to reopen the discussion regarding the possibility of a Nintendo podcast. There really is an opening for a podcast that talks about Nintendo in an educated and informative manner. The most popular Nintendo podcasts, while often entertaining, are mostly fan-casts. They're designed to gush about Nintendo rather than to have a rational discussion. Since you guys find the news to be lacking around the subject, perhaps a biweekly or monthly show would work better so there is more to discuss. Tears of the Kingdom is just around the corner, and I would love a show to go with it from the Sacred family. It would potentially be a huge miss to start one later, but I understand that you might not be in a place to do one so soon. It would also be wonderful to hear a spoiler cast with Dustin, Gene and whoever else is playing Zelda, even though it's currently outside the purview of Last Stand. Cheers.

Jeshua Anderson

Sup fellas! Post CMA denial, Microsofts shares has been skyrocketing. Microsofts share holders have never exactly been crazy about the Xbox division. Should the ABK deal completely fall through (which it looks like it might) and if Starfield isn't successful, could we soon see Microsoft exit gaming all-together? What does a Playstation (and Nintendo to a degree) only gaming world look like? I might sound hyperbolic but am I?. Jeshua

Cat Daddy

Hey, cdc I wanted to talk about uncomfortable moments in video games. I recently beat TLOUS 2, and the final encounter with Abby was a bit too much. I'm not usually squeamish, but mid way through, I'd had enough and literally turnt my head away from the TV and spammed the attack and dodge buttons until it was over. Have any of you ever had a game that made you feel a similar way? As a Fedex Driver, I gotta say listening to Land Stand during my route makes it all the more bearable. Thank you and keep up the awesome work!

Hi sacred crew. After it sitting in my backlog for way too long & just finishing the HBO show, I just finished the last of part II. Loved it & it's a game I'll be reflecting on for a while. But it got me thinking about sequels. No matter how improved a sequel is, graphically, mechanically etc. I always have a soft spot for the the first outing. Even some series with famously better sequels such as uncharted & assassins creed, the first game is more special to me. They just seem to make more of an impact with the introduction of new worlds, characters & game systems, than the refinements of their superior sequels. Where do you guys stand on this, which hits harder; the brand new or the refined revisit.

Llogan from mmry.crd

Heyo sacred boyos I want to say I remember in the past Colin hinting at a potential Super Perils of Baking physical release. I saw the game is on sale on PSN currently, and I just wanted to write in and ask if there were any updates on the physical front! As always I hope you guys have a great day, and I can't wait for the show!

Cat Daddy

Chris, I'm curious about your situation with add. I've struggled with it since I was a child and wasn't diagnosed until 2018 when I was 28. I have a very vivid memory of being 16 in my parents' living room crying my eyes out while telling them there was something wrong with my brain, and they didn't listen. I've managed it at times with and without medication/therapy and have had varying degrees of success. Lately, it's been whooping my ass and I haven't been able to crater it down as i could in the past. Have you learned any techniques/tricks that have helped? I understand this is personal, Chris has spoken out about his experiences on SS and Stelly in the past, so I figure why not ask. Lol, sorry for rambling and the double write in. This edible has definitely kicked in.

Well gentlemen of sacred symbols, It finally happened. As i quickly got the children ready for gymnastics, i came to the conclusion that i could hold in the massive poop that had been building in my gut for an untold amount of time. We were only 5 minutes from the gym and i said to myself “Hunter, you got this, just get the girls to the gym and you can evacuate when you arrive”…. And boy did I…. As we pulled up i was panicking. The prairie dog was emerging and it was a dastardly bastard. The kids little legs werent moving fast enough so i picked them both up and ran into the gym brow sweating and cheeks clenched. I flung the door open with a free pinky and foot. Quickly squatted down with the two kids in my arms and as i reached the apex of the squat it happened…. I full blown shit in my pants. Not a little, not a shart, a full blown log of fecal matter. As i looked up i saw the other parents look at me (most of which were attractive women) with disgust. I very calmly handed the kids off tonthe gym teacher and said “ill be back”. I proceeded to go out to my car, take off my boxers, use baby wipes to clean my ass, and casually tossed my soiled underwear under a car and headed back in…. Needless to say i had stares the entire class…. I dont think ill be welcome there anymore lol. I always thought pooping your pants as an adult was never going to be a thing that happened to me…. Yet here i am, broadcasting it to the sacred family. I told my wife who proceeded to make poop jokes for the next 2 days. Im ashamed and ill never quite fully recover. Moral of the story, its better to be late than shitty Thanks guys love your show!

Dion Collier

Moriarty and Sons Have you gentlemen seen gameplay from the new tactical shooter game Unrecord? When I saw it I couldn't believe it wasn't real. The body cam angle, blurred faces and realistic reload animations made it almost indiscernible from real life and, for me, was actually a little unsettling as if I'd accidentally stumbled onto the dark side of the internet. Should these hyper-realistic and violent games be cause for concern? Thanks and fuck you.

Hey CDC, I like most am tired of the Microsoft/Activision news and discussion. Upon news of the goings on in Europe and the subsequent stock drop with Activision/Blizz, I thought some armchair CEO action was of interest. What happens to Activision/Blizz if the deal falls through? In house splits?Downsizing? Your thoughts are of interest.

Sacred Triumvirate, I have a confession to make. I claim to be a huge Zelda fan, but I fucking hate most of these games. The OG and Adventure of Link hit me right in the nostalgic feels. Ocarina was a game-changer at the time and Majora’s Mask was truly something special. But the rest of them can fuck right off. BOTW was so unimpactful that it can be confused for a gacha grindfest. The new release looks like more shit slightly different skin. How can Nintendo so criminally underperform with this IP, and what is a shocking confession you need to get off your chest about games that you “love”?

Anonymous

Hello Crew, Since Colin farted last week on SS, i was thinking… Do y’all have any crazy farting stories? I have tried to fart in a public place but let us just say that it was louder than expected. Best, AstroParrotKing

Anonymous

Hey Boys, So the CMA has blocked the deal. Regardless of how you feel about the acquisition, do you believe their reasoning makes any sense? I can understand an argument being made about this deal harming competition in the console market. However when it comes to cloud how it could it actually hinder it? Who in their right mind would stream  any competitive multiplayer games. Am I missing something or are bureaucrats just complete ignorant when it comes to games?

Hey CDC, How do you feel about the TSA’s recent declaration that peanut butter is considered a liquid? Personally, I’m disgusted. Thanks

Ember's Arcade

Hey, gentlemen! Colin, you’d expressed mild interest for Honkai: Star Rail, which released today, in a previous episode. While it is absolutely a gacha-riddled waifu simulator, it also has some spectacular turn-based combat with dazzling visuals. I think you’d hate it, but are you still intrigued enough to try it? Thanks, all the best!

Tommy Masters

Hey guys, brand new Patreon here. Colin do you think Sony will finally do something about their lack of 1st party RPG studios? They literally have zero 1st party RPG studios. Sony's last 1st party RPG was From Software's Bloodborne in 2015 (excluding Bluepoint's Demon's Souls Remake). And then we have White Knight Chronicles from 2010. Meanwhile Microsoft acquired a ton of WRPG studios and even Nintendo has a JRPG studio with Monolith Soft. Horizon and GOW are action adventures with some RPG-lite elements. Can we expect them to finally go after a RPG studio, or is it all live-service studios & timed-exclusive deals from now on? (Maybe even Square-Enix?) I'd love to hear what you all think! Keep up the great work.

Tanner Lange

Hey guys! Last week someone wrote in about calling thinga the wrong name in video games, I have one for you guys. My family all really likes Mario and I grew up with my mom, aunts, uncle, and grandma all playing every so often. There was one enemy I guess they didn't know it's name and came up with one, that being the Koopa Troops. I was first introduced to them being called "Ducks", it wasn't until I was in middle school (2013) when I started watching YouTube and learned they are Koopa Troops. Hope you all got a laugh at this and have a great day!

Hey crew, If you could choose two creators and have them change franchises for a game, who would you choose? For me, I’d love to see Miyazaki make a Metal Gear game and Kojima make a souls like. I think they both excel at interesting boss designs and encounters. I’d love to see them try out each others world.

Quantum Radish

Hey sacred gents, Just writing in to say I’ve made the great journey (there’s a reference for ya Chris). This past weekend I stopped by none other than Deli on the Circle with my girlfriend on our way to upstate New York from Cincinnati. I tried the Sacred Sandwich while she had the Pitcraft Turkey sandwich. Gotta say before this I always got the Kroger brand pre packaged turkey, but this Boars Head stuff was insane. This spot is about a 20 minute detour off interstate 71. If you or anyone out there listening are ever on the south side of Cleveland, it’s definitely worth the stop for lunch. And a shoutout to the two gentlemen working the counter Saturday morning, they were very polite and made the sandwiches in a very timely fashion. Keep up the great work fellas, you get many of us through each and every day!! Have a great weekend!

Brandon Wall

Hey there guys, this is a question directed at Colin. How do you feel about the biggest news of the week? And of course I am talking about Aaron Rodgers being traded to the Jets. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into creating great content, it never fails to make me laugh.

SpectreBull

Greetings, boys! This one is for Colin. So, Discord put in their new soundboard feature, and it is a godsend. Colin, your typhoon of turd wind from last week's episode has leaked into Jaffe's Gabbin & Games server. I've been spamming it in the voice chat all night, and now, you are known as Colin Moriarty, the King of Assripping. What is your acceptance speech, sir?

Hello super sexy studs, With the twisted metal tv show coming out sometime this year do you think Sony will release a Twisted Metal game to coincide with the show? With no official announcement of a game coming at all and the show not having a release date yet what are your predictions for the announcement?? Love all the amazing content and stay sexy my friends!

Hey sacred crew Im a UPS driver so I work a lot so I always forget to submit my questions so now I have a backlog of questions so here they are I hope you guys answer at least one of them. 1. Is Microsoft/Xbox marketing/strategy with Gamepass currently serving the right audience. Walk with me. I take my personal situation. I work a lot. I don’t have time for game like I would like so when I sit down to play a game I want it to be 10/10 one of the greatest games of all time and 9/10 is fine as well. I’d rather just buy my games. But then I look at my lil brother who has all the time in the world to play video games and he will ask me to get gamepass so he can just play whatever’s on there. So should Xbox pivot and market towards kids and make Nintendo their primary competition? Kids would be the audience they could be most engaged with the platform. 2. Have you guys been seeing all these league of legends Riot Forge indie games that have been coming out? I wasn’t giving them the time of day cause I thought Riot was making them but no Riot is partnering with indie devs to make these games based on the Runetera world or whatever. I’m not too familiar with League. One game in particular is Mageseeker which is made by the team that made Moonlighter which is one of the best Zelda games. I say all that to say why doesn’t PlayStation do this exact thing with their IP? Give us a dungeon crawler GOW game and let’s us fight some Norse gods we didn’t get to see in the main games. Give us a 2-D platforming Horizon game something please since these sequels take so long to make. 3. This was gonna be about Live A Live and if Colin was playing it when it came out but you kinda insinuated on Constellation you might be playing it. 4. What crossover game featuring all the PlayStation characters would you like to see? I want a fighting made by Arc Sys but they’ll probably end up doing a Kart Racer eventually. I kinda see them giving the team that makes the Nickelodeon Kart Race games a budget and letting them actually make a polished product. Those games aren’t great but you can see the potential of them making something great if they had the budget. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 thank you 🙏

Hi there SS Officers- okay maybe that's a bad title to use No question this week, I just wanted to give a shout out to the LSM community. Online gaming spaces are often overrun with fanboyism and entitled crying, but you guys have managed to cultivate a community if people who just like video games. Even when there's negativity there's always a certain level of respect that's upheld, and it's a pleasure to be a part of. Thanks for the shows and the genuine discussion P.S. Congrats to the Puerto Rican Demon for getting his ass beat with grace and his head (mostly) held high.

Kurt Lewin

Hi Team Sacred Symbols Just a quick possible correction (I say possible because I may have been misinterpreting what you were saying). In the chat around Dreams the past couple of episodes, there have been a couple of times when you've said one of the reasons for Dreams failure was that it didn't have a game attached to it. But like LittleBigPlanet, there was also a story mode created by Media Molecule right from launch and they also released a second campaign a couple of years ago. I only played the first which was called Arts Dream, about a jazz musician. It was only a few hours long but it was there and I had a good time with it, more than any of the creations I played from the community in fact. Apologies if I have misinterpreted what you meant.

Dennis Löfgren

Hey boyos, I have a problem with PlayStation Stars and I want this highlighted somewhere so it can hopefully be changed. Theres always (I think) a campaign related to buying certain games. Right now, its got games like Wo Long, RE4 and Fatal Frame. I don't check Stars all the time and I often find that I've already purchased a game in that campaign before I register myself in it. I think this is just kinda petty and stupid considering you are auto-registered in a lot of campaigns but not the one where you have to spend up to 70 bucks to get anything. I'm not gonna go buy another game just to get 50 points. Do you have the same frustration as me or do I just need to obsessively check Stars all the time? Keep up the great work!

Asique Alam

Oi CCD, I wanted to take a moment to express my admiration for the recent shows. The new voices and perspectives that have breathed new life into the show, even more so now than when y'all started doing the interviews rounds. I appreciate how these episodes have felt more intimate and authentic, allowing us to connect with the guests on a deeper level. The diverse range of topics covered has been truly fascinating. I want to commend all of you for the great work you're doing in curating and producing these shows. It's evident that a lot of thought and care goes into each episode when everyone's chiming in on the fly even if it's not too board, and the result is a show that is engaging, not too production heavy, comforting, and informative in places I wouldn't have bothered to think about. Thank you for all that you do.

BMJ614

Hey CDC, Have y'all ever made up your own achievements in games like creating man made challenges for yourself? For instance in Octopath Traveler 2 there's no trophy/achievement for Ochette capturing all the great beasts, but people should do that cause it makes her OP. So have y'all ever went out y'all way to make the games more fun or challenging by "making your own fun" per se. Specifically making your own achievements And as always STAND DOWN from F'n that chicken my boys😉

Heya CDC, Just wanted to toss an AI related question in the mix. With AI getting crazier every day it seems and being considered in video game developing, do you think a developer could make a pixel/sprite based AI tool to help reduce cost those games? This thought came to me as I patiently wait for Mina the Hollower. Love the Last Stand Media content and shout out to Yacht Club!

Chris H.

Hey Colin, Chris and Dustin! Jedi Survivor drops this week with a gargantuan 148GB download on PS5. In the increasingly more digital age, one rife with data caps and slow internet speeds for many, do you see this as an avenue for cloud gaming to take hold? We learned a few weeks ago that people are willing to make concessions to frame rate in the name of image quality, but do you think gamers will be willing to make concessions in image quality to forgo a huge download? With games sizes ballooning and current game streaming services only requiring about 3GB per hour to stream from the cloud, do you think the average gamer would accept a less crisp, blockier image with a certain amount of input lag over waiting potentially days for a download to complete? A download that could eat a large portion of their data cap for the month. A download that could require deleting other games on their hard drives to make space for? This is also before we look at the cost to store all these monolithic games, with expansion m.2 SSDs for the PS5 costing around $100 to add another 1TB to the console. What say yee lads? Am I crazy for thinking this might be cloud gaming's on ramp to mass adoption as games grow larger and larger in download size? Thanks again for all that you do and keep the great content coming. (Oh!)

Hey guys, this one is a rebuttal to Colin. While listening to SS251, I was pretty shocked to hear you claim that the cast of the original Harry Potter films are “graceless and classless” towards JKR. I’m not going to start a debate with you over JK Rowling because I know how you’re willing to die on that hill but let’s be clear here - Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are some of the nicest, classiest, smartest and wholly good people in the film industry right now. What’re the odds that out of thousands of children who auditioned for those roles that they’d actually find the most perfect actors to embody those characters and, better yet, continue to be good role models in the public eye twenty years later when we’ve seen time and time again how easy it is for child actors especially to fall from grace as they mature. You’re wrong on this one, Colin.

Hey CDC with the BFDs Microsoft are really throwing their toys out of the pram about the CMA decision, Brad Smith’s rant is currently the top BBC news story. Is there a way this deal can go ahead anyway? Surely if the US and EU gives the green light Microsoft would find a way to make it happen? Would love to hear your thoughts. I personally struggle to care about the outcome, but this latest development is at least slightly entertaining. Take care, and please don’t fart on my parade Colin

Hey Gang, Just a note to say that finally here in the uk PlayStation VR 2 looks to be coming to Retail on May 12th as spotted on Shopto.net , what impact do you feel this will have on the products growth in the market? Thanks

Good day gentlemen. I have made a discovery with potential repercussions to the Sacred Symbols lore, and I need your input. I recently found myself on Urban Dictionary, as I needed it's help to explain the definition of the word Based to one of my co-workers, and I happened to notice something which gave me pause. There, on the homepage, was a trending definition for a term known as Donald Ducking. Immediately I became curios as to what this term could possibly mean. Why would a beloved Disney character be trending on Urban Dictionary of all places? I began to read the definition, and within seconds, I was smiling ear to ear. The definition of Donald Ducking is as follows: "To walk around wearing only a shirt, in the style made famous by the Disney character of the same name." Of course, Colin came to mind immediately after reading, and I felt compelled to share my findings with yourselves. So now, we have arrived at the big question. Colin - are you happy to continue under the moniker of Winnie the Pooh when it comes to your nocturnal dress, or will the sticky fingered bear be cast aside for the feathered Donald? Will you walk around your house at night proclaiming that you are Donald Ducking before getting into bed? I look forward to hearing your thoughts, as well as some input from your sons.

Hello CDC Extra Premium Essential Plus Members, Marvel’s Spider Man is leaving PS Plus next month. Although this one is tied to a Disney license, this could mean any Sony first party title could leave the service whenever possible. Do you think we will see more first party titles leave the service? Is this the new reality of gaming subscription services? Do you think Game Pass will follow suit? It would be hard to swallow the idea of a gamepass without Halo on it, or a PS Plus without the Last of Us

Hi CCD, The Sacred Sweethearts was a genuine joy to listen to and also had a big revelation. Holly mentioned she was friends with Dustin’s mom before she and Dustin became friends. How is it Dustin has never mentioned his relationship started as a real-life “my mom’s hot friend” porn scenario?

Hey Colin, Chris and Dustin, I hope everyone is enjoying the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters! While I am loving the games, I was wondering, will these be the definitive releases of these games for years to come? Octopath 2, Triangle Strategy and Live A Live have heavily spoiled me on Squares HD-2D, and a game a like Final Fantasy 6 is begging to be remade in that style. Now that these have been released, I feel like there is no room for a “higher effort” remake. What do you think? Thanks Rahcaz

Hey, guys. Just wanted to chime in that the Sacred Sweethearts podcast was a delight. I think Micah and Holly would be perfect for a Nintendo podcast if they were up for the task and you ever wanted to go that route. Also wanted to complement you on creating such an amazing community. Colin, as a fellow Long Islander with a similar background I am happy and proud for you. You've come a long way. Keep doing what you're doing. Remind me the name of that deli you used to go to. I'm a couple of towns away from Bellport. I'll pick up a hero and Fed Ex it to you. ;) Also, please bring one of the live shows to back home. Patchogue theater awaits.

Hey guys, I saw that the Hybroxia and Twin Breaker is on sale for anyone who didn't get them yet. And maybe nore important as a publisher I noticed that 135 of everyone's favorite jumping games are in the same sale. How are people supposed to find the interesting games such as yours when they are grossly buried behind that type of platinum-ware?

Hey cdc. Why do you think people want this acquisition to go through between Microsoft and abk? Besides more value for game pass and management being horrible I feel like nothing will change at abk. You don’t buy the biggest third party publisher to make massive changes. You buy them because you want to make money from the huge success they already have. People have these wild expectations of crash and Spyro and all these other IPs coming back but why would they when they already know what works?

Hey CDC, I just saw on Twitter Kojima had posted a pic of him and the head of Saudi Arabia’s gaming arm, Faisal bin Bandar, and was curious what your take is. While there isn’t much in the way of actual news, and I doubt there will be, given Kojima’s company is a private company, I’m curious as to how involved the Saudi’s are in Kojima Productions. Maybe Faisal is a big fan and wanted to visit, or maybe he’s an optional boss fight for DS2? Regardless, I look forward to DS2 and hope Kojima hasn’t taken the Saudi bag. Take care!

Hey sacred boys, this is for Chris to hate life more. The minion language isn’t some randomly generated language or gibberish. It’s a language with words and terms. According to Google “The Minions speak Minionese, sometimes called “the Banana language”. Minionese is what’s known as a constructed language – or “conlang.”

Hello CDC, Just wanted to give my experience. After finding out the Deli on the Circle was only 30 minutes away from me. My best friend John (SHOUTOUT John) and I went to get the delicious Sacred Sandwich. It was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and got me to talk a bit even though I’m very antisocial. I just really felt I needed to take a second and call Dustin out on something though. He keeps saying he’s going to go and he never does. Whats up Dustin? Stop being lazy and go. You will indulge in a delicious sandwich and as a plus will likely make someones day by going. Anyway thank you all for the great content and have a wondrous weekend!

Hello man boys! This question is more for Chris/Dustin but a hot topic in the Destiny community lately has been moving towards a Destiny 3 since everything they try to do lately is causing terrible server issues. Do you think they should move on to D3 after Final Shape(next years expansion) or maybe just (finally!) drop last gen consoles? They’ve stated Destiny will continue after Final Shape but I’m curious to hear your guys take on how? Thank you! - Lil Meow Meow

Howdy Sacred Lads, Netflix has their own App Store on mobile devices, and I believe recently announced they are developing a triple AAA game. Do you think that Netflix could ever be a serious contender in the game development space or will they flounder? They got some mega popular IP (imagine a stranger things 3rd person co-op experience) and they put one of my favorite PC games of all time, Into the Breach, on mobile so perhaps there is some potential. But it just seems like they love burning money so who knows. Also, I know Colin hates recommendations… but Into the Breach is from makers of FTL and is a tactics mechs vs aliens game with a great art style. And I’ll won’t say anything more!!! Love you guys and the plethora of content and amazing conversations you provide each week. And shout out to the Sacred Sweethearts ep, that was wonderful!

Hello CDC, Now that CMA is blocking the ABK deal, do you think this will put a dent on the moves Microsoft is doing recently of buying big publishers so they can produce content for GamePass. Or do you think the acquisitions plans of Microsoft will continue as normal? Also, what's all these threats both companies are doing about pulling out investments in the UK, isn't the CMA independent from the government? Thanks for reading and have a nice day

Hey CDC, What do you think the announcement that PS VR 2 will be available in stores means for the future of this device? Do you guys think that how the system sells will be the how Sony decides how to move forwards? How much a bump in sales will this move make for the overall success of this platform? Appreciate all you guys do.

Hey CC, and Big, Big D! Armored Core 6 just dropped a new gameplay trailer with a release date of August 25th! Does this seem any more tantalizing to any of the three of you? Or is it too out of your wheelhouses? Love to know what you gents think! Best from the NW!

Hey Super Soakers, Does Guerrilla not check when other games are releasing? Zero Dawn dropped right before BOTW, Forbidden West right next to Elden Ring, and Burning Shores 3 weeks before TOTK. It seems like Horizon would avoid a lot of unnecessary criticism by avoiding other open world games. What do you guys think? Have a good one!

Hey CDC, Is it just me or have spoilers on the internet become much worse over the last few years than ever before? It seems like ever big game gets spoiled on Twitter. It’s gotten to the point that it’s extremely difficult to avoid a big story beat of a game. Best, Sean M.

Hey CDC! Congratulations Colin, on your Jets picking up Aaron Rodgers! I'm looking forward to his short stint in Minnesota and his eventual involvement in a Mississippi welfare scandal. But maybe this time, he'll at least bring home a Lombardi for the J-E-T-S first :). With the development cycle for most games seemingly growing over time, I feel like it's going to be harder to expect every franchise to produce multiple sequels due to burnout on the developer side, but also the long wait for gamers in between entries. We have examples on both sides, with God of War finishing up their Norse saga in two games and then on the other end we have Horizon already set up for a third game and various spin-offs (so no end in sight for that one). However, I still believe that unless something changes, we’re going to get more one-offs or duologies at most. Do you agree? If not, which current Playstation franchises (outside of Horizon since I already mentioned it) do you see continuing for more than 2 entries into the next generation and beyond? I personally love the prospect of studios moving from one thing to the next to keep things fresh. Thanks for all you do! -Colby

Howdy Sacred Trio! With the reviews of Jedi Survivor being insanely high I wanted to ask, is 2023 setting itself up to be yet another landmark year in video games? We knew this year was going to be stacked in terms of releases, but almost every major triple-a release has been received well so far. I can’t remember another year with this insane quantity of quality. Would love to hear what you have to say! Stay well, and thanks for all the content!
