We recently learned of a Starfield Developer_Direct that will be taking place around the same time as Xbox's very own summer showcase which is undoubtedly chockful of content. Now, Xbox has pulled back the curtains on some of their plans and the Dukes has some disagreements to iron out. Xbox will not be on the show floor at E3 and plans on holding their Starfield Direct right after their own summer showcase. One Duke is in favor of this plan while another is not. Who will take the L? We'll learn on June 11th in an Xbox extravaganza of sorts just how wild things will get. Otherwise, Xbox and PlayStation are ramping up their respective aggression levels for the Activision Blizzard deal and making their intentions very clear. With multiple more 10 year deals inked, Jim Ryan claiming he just wants the merger blocked, and the FTC demanding tea be spilled -- it will be a mighty interesting day in court when these three finally come together. Meanwhile, Ghostwire Tokyo comes to Xbox, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 faces some serious threats, Sea Of Stars comes to Xbox, Forza might be delayed until October, and a whole bunch more news round out another week for Xbox.

Hiya guys, just letting you know that the Video version is showing as locked for those who are at the $5 level, not sure why, seems like something is up with patreon. EDIT: This has been resolved now, thank you :)

I wish more people were playing Octopath 2. The game is truly a masterpiece RPG In my opinion. I’m 50 hours into the game and have only completed one story so far. Plus the difficulty is really great. You will get waxed if you’re not at a good level. Temenos final boss was epic. My main is Ochette and I have her with the thief secondary job. I have her speed at over 500 right now and matched with the thief….. man is she powerful.

All this kerfuffle over Call of Duty and I’m just wanting Crash and Spyro on gamepass.

Loved the conversation around the summer showcase and Starfield reveal. Think I am on the side of Cog. Imagine you start the showcase with a Starfield trailer then spend the first 1hr showing stuff coming in the next 18 months. See some Hellblade 2, Forza, Avowed, new Compulsion game, and Halo battle royal. Sprinkle in GP games like Flintlock and others. Then show stuff further out like Fable, Perfect Dark, Indiana Jones and new InXile game. Then wrap it up with a 40 mins deep dive of a game coming in 3 months, flowed by hands on at the fanfest. All a bit fan fiction, but agree with Cog, think they got something cooking. Starfield could be the event that takes a very good showcase to an amazing event.

Weird. I usually go in order with stories. Like do everyone’s part 1 then part 2, easier that way. My mains in both Octopaths are always the scholar and cleric. Damage and heal. Although, merchant is the most OP in both games, and how people usually beat the end game optional boss.

I don’t mind Xbox going in-depth on Starfield while also showcasing other titles. If I like something, I’ll remember it. I just hope they stay honest with release dates.
