What better way to celebrate 100 episodes than to hear from Godd Howard himself? Many fans are clamoring for new Starfield information, but what we didn't expect was Todd Howard to appear on a podcast for three hours and talk about things beyond Starfield. Those topics range from Elder Scrolls 6, to Amazon's Fallout TV show, and even MachineGames' Indiana Jones! Todd even dives deep into his relationship with Xbox with how things have changed for the better and, in some ways, not at all. Outside of this, we are relatively free from the shackles of the perpetual news cycle following the Activision-Xbox deal and can instead turn our attention toward Xbox's achievement system. With a new report from Jez Corden, fans are excited about the possibility of Xbox layering PlayStation's trophy system on top of the current Gamerscore infrastructure. Hopefully within the new 100 episodes, we can cover what this new achievement system truly is!

Some people (a small number) don't even want to give Xbox credit for Halo or Gears, so you guys should expect a ton of people to not give Xbox credit for Starfield.

Congrats on 100 guys! Matty I highly recommend you drop 5 bucks to play Vampire Survivors on your Steam Deck. Perfect handheld game.

Why should Xbox get credit for Starfield? That game was in development long before the Microsoft acquisition, it would have come out regardless.

Kaleb

Fam they've owned Bethesda for a year. They couldnt have influenced Starfield much at all outside of maybe the delay. I mean they're suppose to be operating on their own still right?

Gabriel Baker

Congratulations on 100. Small correction: GTA V used to be in GamePass. For around a year I believe

The best thing that DD ever did was introduce me to 3 personalities that I hope to follow until it’s all said and done. Thank you Matty, Cog, and the OG Karak. #DD100

Guys can you read? I'm not stating whether Xbox deserves credit. I'm making a prediction on how the console warriors will respond to Starfield. The Dukes in the podcast discussed the whole "this game doesn't count because XYZ" metagame that fanboys like to play online. Fam if you think Xbox doesn't deserve credit for Starfield, write in for the Dukes next week. The Dukes love receiving critical questions that push back respectfully.

Congrats on 100 guys. Just became a new Patron to celebrate for myself and the hard work you all have done. Excited to be along for the ride full time!

I think taking note of one of machine games lead designers, Frederik Ljungdahl, might be a hint to how Indian Jones might be presented. He was lead designer on 'Escape from butchers Bay', which was a 1st person brawler/shooter game with 3rd person moments, along with some light detective/adventure game questing. I would say alot of those mechanics might translate well to an Indian Jones game. Even if he is not part of the team working on it, he would still have employees that have his attained knowledge.

Jakob Podstawek

Ok, so just read that Jens Andersson, another lead that worked on Riddick with Frederik, joined the Indi team. This is definitely going to be closer in design to butchers Bay.

Zack Fair

Nah, definitely not! At least I'd want a 60fps at 1440p

Mason Kent

Y’all guys are awesome! congrats on 100 episodes keep up the good work

Will be very surprised and disappointed if Starfield doesn't have a 60fps Performance Mode option.
