An Evening With Last Stand Media II: The Most Overrated Games of All-Time in Houston, Texas in February 2023! (Patreon)

It’s time for us to come out of our hidey-holes once more! (Why does that sound so disgusting?) Today, I (Colin) am pleased to reveal the next Last Stand Media live show. Indeed, if you listened to the episode of Sacred Symbols released just a couple of hours before this post goes live, you’ll have already gotten a little tease as to our plans.

As you may recall, our first live show -- An Evening With Last Stand -- was way back in 2021 in Pennsylvania, and earlier this year we rocked Sacred Symbols 200 live here in Virginia. This time around, we’re going a little further from home for the aptly-named yet strangely-confusing An Evening With Last Stand II. In February of 2023, we’ll be ‘playing’ the great American city of Houston, Texas. To what end? To declare The Most Overrated Video Games of All-Time, of course!

So, here’s what you need to know. The show is on the evening of Friday, February 24th 2023 at 7p CT at Houston’s Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center. All seating is assigned, and there will be VIP options available. The VIP session will take place before the show, run for 90 minutes, and consist of Q&A, individual pictures, a poster, etc. Tickets will go on sale exclusively for Last Stand Media Patrons at all levels beginning on Friday, November 11th at 1p ET, and will cost between $60 and $91 with fees and taxes included. On Monday, November 21st, all remaining tickets will go on sale to the public.

As the name of our show suggests, the entire Last Stand Media family will be in attendance: Me (Colin), Chris, Matty, Dustin, Cog, Dagan, Ben, and Micah. A veritable army of nerdiness and depression.

We learned the important lesson at our first live show to have merch. At our second live show, merch was a hit, but we didn’t have enough of some stuff and too much of other things. To help try and mitigate this, we’ll be offering a special edition t-shirt and special edition poster at the show, and you’ll be able to pre-order both to ensure availability. You can then pick up your selected items at the show. This is simply to let you know this easy-peasy option will be available for those interested; you can still buy your gear at the show, too.
