As we enter the season of spookiness, we're left wondering about the scariest possibility: Continuing PlayStation 5 scarcity. But there's good news emerging, at least if recent reports are to be believed. It appears Sony is readying to gear-up PS5 production in ways so dramatic that they plan on selling more units in one year than consoles like GameCube and the original Xbox did in their entire respective lifetimes, with millions to spare. Soon, the question may not be if you can get a PS5, but if you really want one. (You do.) Plus: New discoveries about first party team Haven suggest Sony wants them more for making making games easier than making a game (follow all that?), Persona 3 and 4 quietly receive a release date on PS4 (speaking of Revelations), new PS+ offerings leave much to be desired (some old games would be nice), and more. Then: Listener inquiries! What are some obscure digital-only PS3 titles worth playing? How come games rarely launched in the summer back in the day? Do we have a hard time playing with an evil karmic slant in choice-based campaigns? Has a recent YouTube suggestion from Dustin ruined actual lives?

I always play BioWare games as the bad guy, makes the game more spicy. Mass effect renegade run is very fun and the bad guy choices are almost comical. I also played as the bad guy in Kotor.

Yiorgos

Agreed, the ME2 Renegade interrupts are too awesome to not do.

I’m glad Colin’s getting into Trails of Cold Steel. I and II are two of my favorite games ever. I was lukewarm on III and I’m playing IV right now, but it took me several tries to get back into it.

Thanks. I'm still watching Texas Street Fights at 11:00 at night.

I have the hardest time ever being “evil” in video games. When I finally completed everything I wanted to in Death Stranding, I decided to go on a shooting rampage with lethal weapons. At that point I had never killed anyone, and was curious to see how it played out. When it was all said and done I had around a dozen bodies in front of me. While I shouldn’t have cared because I had no plans on going back to the game, I couldn’t bring myself to leave behind a bunch of dead body bombs in the world I had just saved. So in the end, my last couple of hours with Death Stranding were spent transporting the corpses of all those poor souls to the incinerator for a proper send off.

I feel like chris sold the gameplay in god of war slightly short, it is true that the story was a huge component of the success of 2018, but the gameplay is fantastic and widely admired. In fact 2 upcoming games are pretty much copying it completely with flintlock and evil west. Thanks guys.

Why is Colin paying for YouTube Premium and Spotify when YT Premium comes with YouTube Music included?

Alec Davis

Love the Trump impressions. More please

I do the same thing. YT music is just not a good service. The app is bad.

I think he means that God of War in the PS2 and PS3 era was all about gameplay, and not at all about story, and he's right.

Colin your Birthday is on my wife and I’s wedding anniversary.

I also fall off of games late, and I also am at the very end of Tunic and have yet to finish it Question: What is the longest amount of time you have between trophies you've earned in a game? I walked away from Shadow of Mordor, mere hours from finishing it, only to go back and finish it up several years later, using same save file 😂

I watched the 4K rescan of Wizard of Oz recently and unfortunately, the hanging Munchkin is just a swan. Don't tell Chris.
