Delays, Delays, Delays! | Defining Duke Ultimate Episode 81

Is there anything else to look forward to? The year of 2022 has seen 46 different games receive delays and the frustration among gamers is steadily mounting. For some time, many were not hard pressed to get their most anticipated games in their hands. However, as time presses on and the delays become more frequent; it begs the question as to why we are receiving any release dates in the first place! Uniting with Cog, we take a hard look at where the industry currently stands, is there a solution to its current problem, if it matters at all to the common gamer, and what is left to look forward to in a year that has lost a lot of heavy hitters.

If all these delays are truly due to the “pandemic” , continuing to work from home is unacceptable

? that's not corelated. Everything got pushed back a year in 2020, and most of the games released in 2021 were already nearing completion, 2022 is where you're seeing games that were earlier on in development, and where their completion was halted. Hence delays.
