Is there anything else to look forward to? The year of 2022 has seen 46 different games receive delays and the frustration among gamers is steadily mounting. For some time, many were not hard pressed to get their most anticipated games in their hands. However, as time presses on and the delays become more frequent; it begs the question as to why we are receiving any release dates in the first place! Uniting with Cog, we take a hard look at where the industry currently stands, is there a solution to its current problem, if it matters at all to the common gamer, and what is left to look forward to in a year that has lost a lot of heavy hitters.

Planet of Lana officially delayed to spring 2023 right before the release of this show lmao. The trend continues :/

I hate delays but almost all these delayed games were not selling preorders yet…. that narrative does not fit on 95% of these games

What seems to sadly not get much attention is Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The game got pushed up almost 2 months and it’s phenomenal, my personal GOTY. Glad you are enjoying it so far Matt :) On the bright side tho, 2023 should be fucking insane for games. They can’t all get delayed again…right?

Xenoblade 3 and Elden Ring have been my favorites this year

Even more delays since this is pretty funny. Just a mess of a year.
