Matty I saw your post on YouTube. Not even sure if you will see this but I enjoy the content very much . You and Cog are doing great work. That doesn’t mean I won’t come at you for going to soft on Xbox but I’m listing so you are doing something right. Imposter syndrome can fuck off. Cheers Mate!

Am I way off for saying Gamepass is part of the problem.? Since MS is more focused on subscribers than unit sales where is the incentive to make sure things are ready before launch?

Why is it always about crunch and not overtime? I don't get the outrage at videogame makers working more to create the best game possible. I'm not saying it's okay to sleep under a desk but ever industry has overtime to finish things and many workers love overtime occasionally. I don't think Red Dead 2 could have been created with 40 hour weeks unless it took like 8 years. So why does it seem not okay to worker more to create a product?

If the devs are on salary, you don't get overtime pay. I wish the audience knew more about what a "standard" work week vs a "crunch" work week looked like

Thank you for the info but Just cause someone is salary does not mean they don't work overtime cause most likely they do. I been salary myself and stayed over to get things done. Its like when everyone was outraged when red dead 2 devs said they worked a lot to get the game done cause their proud of it and the everybody went crazy over it. Working over and crunch are like 2 different categories for me.

Its just that everybody does it but it's only bad when devs do it unless the work culture is terrible then I totally understand
