Matty, Cog, and (of course) Chris gather after the holiday season to talk about the biggest game of 2021: Halo Infinite. A game that, much like prior Halo games, suffered a tumultuous development cycle and had many worried upon its arrival. Now it's here where many of us have completed the campaign and allowed our thoughts to marinate for quite some time. With that, we dive into everything (and I mean everything) that Halo Infinite has to offer. The Weapon, Escharum, Echo 216, Chief's development, Cortana, new foes, the Banished, an open world to explore, and much, much more.

I wonder what insane opinions Matty will have lol, this is gonna be interesting!

Thanks for answering my question about Escharum! I appreciate you guys really diving into more of his character. I feel like I missed half the game by not listening to the audio logs about him because I just didn’t find him interesting.

love or hate the game one thing is universal: we all want that snow biome!

No one tell Colin (just kidding) but I think this was the best Spoilercast done by the LSM crew so far! Really enjoyable to listen to, loved hearing Chris dive deep into the lore and explain why Offensive Bias being mentioned is a big deal. Great job Matty, Cog and Chris! Keep it up and take care

Crituqe for future content. I think the non-spoiler section of the spoilercast really derails the flow of early conversation. It's a spoilercast, you guys have all discussed impressions elsewhere.

If new Cortana picks Joy as her name, all I’m going to think of is Blade Runner 2049 and pain

Does anyone know why 343 is structured so that a vp of Xbox game studios is in charge? You’d think they’d not leave it to a microsoft person in charge of other stuff (or a former PR guy lmao) Honestly, so long as they stop cycling so many goddamn contractors, now it’s feels like they’re actually in a perfect place: Bonnie Ross dealing with being a liaison to Microsoft, representing the studio, and handling the non development related business side, while the creative vision and execution of it falls to Joe Staten, the newly christened Kevin Feige of Halo. And Frank O’Connor operating the toll booth in the parking lot. I’m excited to be engaged with halo again, but tbh that engagement will go if Joe does.

Best spoiler cast I’ve listened too. Honest critiques from people who truly enjoyed the game

Chris did not like my Halo 2 opinions lol. I personally prioritize gameplay over story so that's why I'm harsh on Halo 2 (also it's literally/blatantly missing a final mission). Overall the spoiler cast was enjoyable but you guys harped way too much on the problems with Halo 4 and 5.
