It's a stacked week for the Dukes! Getting right into it, Xbox has announced an event to celebrate their 20th anniversary. While there won't be new game announcements, there are many alternative routes to be taken. Beyond familiar backwards compatible speculation is a chance to spotlight Halo Infinite's campaign yet again. Outside of this, there are many guesses as to what can be shown to us in November. While there is much good news to celebrate, on the surface it may seem like some bad news has arrived. Xbox Game Pass did not meet its target growth! Is this a bad thing? Taking a look at the numbers tells a much, much different tale. Fable fans continue to suffer greatly, PlayStation brings God Of War to PC, Splinter Cell is back in action, and so much more in a loaded episode!

Hyped for the DD+Xbox2 crossover. In regards to establishing a roadmap for 2022 Gamepass... I am of the mindset they need to nail down one of these big-time February releases. They got a niche Feb. title in 'Shredders,' obviously, but I think nailing another title this month is key. Elden Ring and Dying Light 2 they have marketing deals with, so of course I think these are probably the most 'prime' candidates. A February with Horizon for Sony and Pokemon (late Jan) for Nintendo I think will take Xbox well out of the spotlight unless they take some action proactively... As far as we know, nothing huge for Xbox is coming from first-party in 2022 until what... Redfall in the summer?

Gamepass aint sustainable in the long term, you might see a influx of subscribers once a AAA comes on but soon as they aint I feel the numbers will drop to a level
