Hideo Kojima is a name that continues to be tossed around on a partnership for Xbox, but it appears his work with PlayStation isn't finished if reports of a Death Stranding 2 are to be trusted. Is this a case of a mistranslated quote from actor Norman Reedus or will Kojima play both sides of the fence? Knowing the optics of the situation, you would have to assume that Xbox would like to isolate the legendary director. In other news, Xbox has announced a showcase of sorts for Tokyo Game Show. After Gamescom, the industry learned their lesson that the term "showcase" doesn't mean information galore and you may not even be able to trust that its biggest games are there. With expectations firmly in check, Matty and Cog dive into how Xbox needs to make strong moves to become a global brand. From localization to establishing new talent, it has been a consistent weak spot for the brand. The most important question asked in our show's history has also been answered: would we rather watch our parents do it every day for the rest of our lives or join in once? It's an Xbox gaming show, what did you expect? A clever third answer just may raise its head...

There’s No I in LLC

Ace Attourney is not only better but more iconic. Monokuma will burn in hell next to those terrible spin offs.

Yoo great show guys, as usual! I do have a small point of contention reguarding your segment about Xbox games being on playstation. Xbox has NOT been clear in its messaging to people. They just haven't. I know you guys understand what's being said, but not everybody is as plugged in as you guys are to the gaming industry/community. Here's what people who aren't super plugged in see. Sony: has never released games on any other platform (I know they've got a couple pc releases), Nintendo: never releases on other platforms and actively goes after people for IP infringement and shit. Xbox: releases Wasteland 3 on ps5, releases Quake remaster on ps4/5 even though it's never been on playstation before, new Skyrim edition incoming to ps5, releases Outer Worlds dlc on ps5, no ps5 Hellblade release, no psychonaughts 2 ps5 edition, Outer Worlds 2 exclusive to Xbox, Starfield exclusive to Xbox, Deathloop ps5, Ghost Wire Tokyo ps5. I know some of these are contractual agreements that existed prior to Xbox's acquisition of certain devs but to people who don't pay attention to every single release this shit is confusing. Particularly when you combine it with the PR speak Xbox loves to do. #SlanderDD

Hey gents. Love the show and the energy. I look forward to it every week. But the question about walking in on your parents was a horrifying moment because I was listening to the podcast in the car taking my kids to a school activity. They are mature and the occasional usage of curse words is not something that bothers me. We don’t use them but they understand many who do. But that question was just out of bounds guys. I know it was meant to be funny, that’s why it was included, but just totally off topic and IMO inappropriate. And for those that have suffered from sexual abuse from a parent, entirely insensitive. I’ll keep listening. I just may do it with earbuds in the future. Hoping you both have a boringly bleh day
