It's not a secret that Matty is a lifelong fan of BioWare, but Exalted March may just take the crown. Hosting a BioWare podcast and completing both trilogies of Mass Effect and Dragon Age over a dozen times, we tap Exalted on the shoulder to talk about Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the future of BioWare remasters, the potential of remakes, and the strange position Dragon Age 4 finds itself in. BioWare is somewhat on the rebound, but these next couple of years are crucial to them. With that, we discuss!

With so much wonderful new stuff happening in the world of Xbox I would love to see us celebrate what’s happening now instead of going back to the Bethesda/BioWare well over and over. Accessibility features in Xbox have been huge and we never hear about them or how they help people play games. Even a deep dive into the RDNA tech under the hood! It’s pride month so bring in someone to talk about that. I also realize it’s very easy for me to sit in my office and throw ideas so I’m not trying to be unappreciative. With 50 or so eps a year it’s gotta be tough prepping shows. But I find there’s too much overlap with the matty brand. I’d like Duke to become its own thing. I’ll go quiet for a while now and cheer for you in the background. Thanks for the shows!

Despite the recent rough patches, Bioware is still my favorite developer. Looking forward to this one!

Why is the episode audio only? I never watch the videos anyway but I was curious

Good episode, and now I have a new podcast and set of content creators to check out! I will say, I was hoping to see some discussion of Dragon Age 4's inevitable villain. I know the villain's identity is an Inquistion spoiler but you could still vaguely refer to him as the Dread Wolf. I personally think he has the potential to be a better villain than Saren from ME1 (assuming his background and motivations are fleshed out in 4 with the same quality as the setup in Inquisition and Trespasser). The Dragon Age series has never really had interesting villains (discounting Loghain, who is surprisingly interesting if recruited in Origins) and I'm hoping they really nail it in 4.

Another dope episode. I really like this Exalted March dude! As soon as he talked positively about Batman V Superman, I knew I was in love. 😍 Would love to have him back on.

Awesome guest and episode

I loved the mass effect discussion!! I agree with so much of what you all said. The combat in andromeda was amazing but I personally HATED that andromeda dropped the paragon/renegade system. They could have made a “grey” third option for people that blended the two extremes. I hope all future mass effects put the paragon/renegade system back into the game cause its what makes replaying the Legendary Edition so much fun.

Super fun episode! It got me pumped to play ME again soon.
