Depending on who you are, who your parents are, when and where you grew up, and many other factors, your experience eating at home as a kid was... well... different. We Moriartys were quite lucky, indeed: Italian Long Islanders with an extended family of talented cooks constantly putting delectable treats in front of us (carbs, especially). But some of you out there... well... you may not have been as lucky. So let's explore stories of eating at home, of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, or beloved meals and loathed options. Was your mom a better cook, or your dad? Maybe your grandparents? There's much to discuss. Just one thing: Don't go into this episode on an empty stomach.

I learned a lot about Italian food during this episode. And I’m better off for it!

Was this episode pulled from Apple Podcasts? My phone downloaded it earlier today and when I wanted to listen to it a minute ago, it was nowhere to be found - also not in the „all episodes“ list?

Weird. The new Sacred Symbols+ episode was downloaded and is available for listening. Might then just use the Patreon link/video instead.

Thank you Dagan for the chicken cutlet recipe/lesson near the end. Informative and hilarious, can’t wait to make them soon.

That cereal meatloaf story still cracks me up. Dagan really missed out.

Hey, Dagan! Just want to shout-out my retro printed KnockBack t-shirt is one of my favorites in my rotation right now. Just givin' KB merch some love since you inquired!

Totally relate to you Col on the just wanting to be home. Probably more so than you as I only pretty much go out for work. The Little Scallions 🥺 Super cute. Dagan sounds like a kid at times (the meatloaf punking) and it’s adorable.
