I love the mesoamerican aesthetic, it brings back fond memories of Raiders of the Lost Ark or even Uncharted, and I read a lot about historical mysteries and what not and mesoamerica would pop up a lot. It’s really a beautiful, unsettling, fascinating and mysterious culture long forgotten and is perfect for treasure hunting adventures like Tomb Raider

It's the perfect setting, in a way, though I loved the alpine, snowy, post-Soviet setting of Rise a lot more, to be honest.

Yah I really enjoyed the sort of three branched story with Rise where there was the main story and then what happened thousands of years ago and then what was going on with the excavating and prisoners in the soviet camp. I’ve always found Soviet iconography cool and the history fascinating as well
