You know how I felt about the 2nd amendment- and that I even took a class on it to 'try' to help me make sense of why, in this day and age, it was necessary. In more recent years, I've come to better appreciate it and realize (as you say) to hold on to and never give up any of our rights. Maybe we can make the amendment 'better' but to lose it? No. Thanks for forcing us out if our comfort zones and opening up controversial discussions that help us learn - about ourselves and one another. I love it.
