The Final Word on Helldivers 2 (For Now) | Sacred Symbols+, Episode 372

In Sacred Symbols' near-six year history, Helldivers 2 has been one of our single-most discussed games in the What We're Playing section of our show. But we never got around to dedicating an episode of Sacred+ to Arrowhead's critical and commercial smash-hit. Thus, I (Colin) gathered the Sacred boys -- Chris and Dustin -- along with our associate producer Ben, as we've by far spent the most time with Helldivers 2 within the walls of LSM. From there, we get into the nitty-gritty, espousing our individual statistics, outlining our playstyles, arguing in favor of our preferred loadouts, and delving into the metastory, too, not to mention what the future may hold for Sony's surprise second party breakout.

B-08 Light Gunner has the speed of light and the armor rating of a medium

I’ve started using that too. With the shield backpack it’s the best

Same! And I take the grenade launcher to get bug holes from a distance. Something a little extra to stay away from the chaos

Head cannon: They are all clones, but cloning is illegal in this universe so they need the propaganda to cover up the fact that they are using clones. People just assume that the propaganda is successful and they have an over abundance of volunteers.

Colin, every time you laugh out about Arrowhead's decision to make the game on a "dead" engine (what in software is nothing too unusual, as the development team take it as a in house engine and support it), I always remember Lillymo decided to make a video game on a console that stopped being produced. Come on now 😉.

Colin, we have a small LSM group of Helldivers that meet up and play regularly. We could get you those gold trophies in a single night if you wish. That's how I was able to get mine. If anyone out there is interested in joining us, add JoRo729 on PSN. I play this game often and there are members of the LSM community who are already level 50.

Sounds like Dustin kind of gets screwed on the stats because he is a utility player.
