In this episode, we shadow a retail boosting squad and graffiti crew called "Finesse Em' All" (FEA) and reunite with some old friends on a Tenderloin trap corner called the 'Woo Block' :)

In the next episode, we'll actually shadow 'Jack the Bipper' on a real boosting mission.

We're trying to go above and beyond to give all of our loyal supporters extended content WAY in advance. In fact, these videos may live behind the paywall forever. I'm not sure if YouTube will ever allow this content, based upon what I know about their community guidelines.

I'd also really like to know which parts of this series you enjoyed, what could be cut, or what you feel like I left out. All of this will be crucial in editing our final product. So please let me know!

FYI - I know there's a glitch where the video resets itself around 9:45. Lol. Sorry

Enjoy.

y’all shoulda blurred the kids from the town faces

channel5

Truuue I’m maybe about to do that for the public cut . However, they can’t get popped off this video for a couple reasons. For one, the FEA dude is inferring that they stole the candy based on observation (no actual evidence or testimony of crime coming from the kids), so they really can’t get in any trouble and also being able to see their young faces really allows the viewer to humanize them and see that they’re literally 12 years old. If you blur, they might look older and be given less empathy by viewer

There's chance to go deeper with all the access you have. 1. Tech is one of contributors to the gentrification / lack of housing, but not the main one. San Diego, LA, Portland, Philly all have significant unhoused populations, open drug use, boosting (to lesser degree, but still), etc and almost no tech. What the hell going on with that? I am guessing houses very expensive because NIMBY ? Red tape? It is hard to build houses stuff due to general social decay? 2. Hardcore questions, but C5 might be one of best suited to explore this shit: How come there's so few East Asian / Indian folks in the streets doing fent living in tents? Does culture influence this ? The stuff that I hear from FEA bros is same things we hear in Biggie's "Ready to Die". and that was 30 years ago. Just to be clear I am not implying race stuff. I am implying cultural capital / school / opportunities, etc, but honestly, I have no idea and would love to understand what's the reality. What's going on here? Anyway, sick stuff as always, I am so happy that you are putting those out. Keepin it real for all of those who cannot, thank you
