Although the monster has grey skin, it’s tentacles from its sensitive insides are colored more like earthling/human flesh.  This eludes to it being destined to make love with females from our planet.  Things that are totally alien can also be hot.  I like to use both depending on what I’m feeling is right for the picture.

The tentacles are not ribbed because in a still picture with many thin tentacles bunched up like this, it can get visually confusing.  The smooth tentacles make it clear where they’re going.
