The shape of the opening in the belly button is rotated 45 degrees from the original configuration to make a diamond shape instead of a square.  This is more realistic since some navels are vertical slits.  To follow a path of least resistance, the worms would first stretch the navel open top and bottom, then the sides.

Each blade of grass is hand drawn.  I tried using a pattern tool but it looked way too artificial.  I’m sure someday I could use such tools and still make it look good.

One of my more subtle sub-fetishes is hand poses.  Dainty hand poses like in the last panel (her right hand) are quite sexy to me.  The same goes for arms and shoulders.  For drawing I prefer only alsightly manicured nails.  Not too long and not painted with polish.  I put a little shine on them here.

A few basic props make her tent seem realistic.  I wanted to put a lot more props but I didn’t want to get bogged down either, which tends to happen.  There is a nylon weave texture on the tent itself, reflective outside and shadow-casting inside.
