This week's file is the Hoth Echo Base diorama!

For the Bacta Tank I used this clear acrylic tube from Amazon. I also used pieces of a coaxial cable (you can use sandpaper to sand off any text on it) that fit right into the holes. The one in the photos with the figures was just an old iPhone cable, sliced on an angle to give a flat edge and was simply glued on. I also used Krylon Matte Spray (which I use for my custom figures too) to do a little frosting on the tube to look like water. I also used one of these tap lights on the base to illuminate it.

So my wife used some clear gel beads around Chritmas time in a glass vase to make objects appear to float once water was added. This is the first thing I thought of was a bacta tank. Now I've got the file and can recreate the scene. Now to by a 1/12 scale body off the interwebz, create a diaper and put Luke's head on and voila!

Any chance of a revisit of this one to give the diorama piece straight walls so it can fit with your modular Echo Base set?
